Sooooo much obsession here. I'm worried it's a bit un-healthy at times.

What's your obsession level?

My dearest has diagnosed me as car obsessive. All of my vehicles since I started driving a long time ago have been treated as babies. Tis' my only problem with an OCD. :)

I pick lint off my race car before going on track. Probably will be an 11 when it comes to the Mustang.

I use to be pretty bad but after 3+ years I'm able to just enjoy the car for what it is. It's just a car!

I’m so OCD about it that I feel like I really can’t always enjoy it. Won’t drive it in the rain or leave it outside at night. Worry about parking when I take it anywhere, etc. Wish I could lighten up a bit and enjoy it more!

I love my car to a point, but realize it for what it is. I will not baby this car when it comes to putting power down.

The poll questions are a bit mixed into two different things ... but as far as being "tuned into" the car and how it runs and sounds, etc ... call it a Vulcan Mind Melt. :)

Unfortunately bubble wrap has been done. I had to set the car outside and I went to home Depot and bought a roll of bubble wrap to put over top of the car because they were calling for strong storms with hail...
The boss still sets in garage with cover and won't let the boy touch it. Even a 10% chance of rain and boss doesn't see light od day.
Wife says way obsessive.

At my age and over time obsessing with every detail I’ve come to realize I can only do the best I can and things I can’t control I can only deal with it. That being said at a minimum the car never leaves the garage without being dusted down

I clean my car usually everyday with that quick spray wax/polish. I would feel bad if my baby collected dust

I used to be decently obsessed....well as much as one can considering daily driver...wash by hand and spray wax every weekend...take my time..

Then I got diagnosed with incurable blood cancer that may or may or may not kill me in 20 to 25 years...I'm 43 now and doctors said never saw someone as young as I am get this so they have no idea what long term this will do since 99 percent of people diagnosed are in late 60s/70s

Let's just say i take to car wash every weekend.....I spend little time as possible cleaning ...I still do my best to park at the back of lots but remember it's just a mass produced car and life is short. I'd rather spend a day at the beach with my kids then detailing my car.

My 67 gt500 is original interior original chrome and stainless and only been painted once so it's all ready not perfect lol
