Hellion 6266 Dyno, Valve FLOAT? Spark?

Took my car to the dyno to see what she would do, It quit making power after 6K rpm on any pull more than 14psi due to possible float confirmed by Lund.. Best numbers 822/764 on 15-16psi.

This is well documented with turbo twin kits using stock headers. Proper turbo headers don't do this valve float. Back pressure is floating them. Not saying it won't happen with turbo built headers just not at 14-16 psi

Put a pressure sensor on the hot side and find out.

Reusing the stock manifolds is a key reason I did not go with Hellion.

Dont waste your time. Cut outs will do nothing for the back pressure issue

It's a known issue. Put valve springs in it and let it eat.

mmmmm my car 62/66 kit 1194 hp no valve float

the backpressure pre-turbo is where the problem resides, the cutouts won't relieve that
