Installed the Steeda pedals on gas, brake, and clutch. Just waiting for the dead pedal from CJ Pony Parts, which arrives tomorrow.

80FoxCoupe:lol: I take it you don't like it. It's ridiculously fun for me. :)
Yah bj I'm afraid I have to agree with 80FoxCoupe,just too goofy. If a person really needs to see their car that bad, just open the door and step outside LOL. Only jibbing you, I understand diff strokes for diff folks, those just aren't for me. Cheers and happy modding :)

I installed my MPT tune yesterday...holy moly did Ford neuter the V6. Different car all together and I love the way it shifts...smooth as butter and it just is so much more aggressive past 2500 RPM.

Only performance part left to purchase with regards to power and/or acceleration is an aluminum driveshaft

Just curious is all but........why would you buy a 6 Whalen you want more hp??? I’d doesn’t equate to me? With all the mods you’ve done/planned....it would have been better to get the GT??:cheers:

First, I got this car used at 4K miles, with leather seats, for 24,500. So the price could not be beat. 2nd, I’m not after that much HP...just over 300 at the wheels is enough for me. Car handles like a fighter jet. If you look at my build journal, you will see most of the build is focused on the suspension and interior comfort.

My CF5Vs randomly showed up today which was a pleasant surprise, ordered them at the beginning of April. I do wish the gunmetal finish was about 10% darker, I would say these err closer on the side of silver than gunmetal, but no matter as I'm sure it'll look great once on the car. I might be one of the first 2018s with CF5Vs if I get my tires soon enough...haha.

One question for anyone with Forgestars, I noticed a few of the wheels have small spots where it looks like there was some slag or sediment on the wheels before they were sprayed, sign of a not-perfect prep job. Is this normal for forgestars or worth me seeking some kind of partial compensation for the quality control? Not really worth sending them back for this kind of thing, but I'm also not sure if this is acceptable for custom wheels (my first set of non-repro wheels). This is pretty much the worst of it, there's some other instances where there's a single spec on the face of the wheel or near an edge.
