Finished up under the hood with some subtle raised letter painting, waxed and installed the coil covers. The custom engine cover plate should be in today from Anchor Room.
.
Looks awesome. Great job
How does the paint not run down the raised letters and pool there?? Is you technique just a light dab of the rag. It looks like it came from factory like that.

The custom badge, racing number and engine bay text really tie things together.

I understand that it wouldn't take much to go overboard (Like me and my carbon addiction) but do you have ideas for other small yellow elements/details?

Steeda vertical links and rear zl1addons rock guards installed. I think I found what my rear clunk noise has been too... loose locking collar on the rear passenger shock. Tightened it down with all the strength and leverage I could muster and used blue Loctite on it as well. I think this is it because clunk went away after billet mount install and shock collar was tightened then after being found loose. No clunk for a couple days then it came back and the collar was loose again this time. Driver side collar is still nice and tight. Hopefully that saga is now over.

Thanks, Todd! I know, I'm starting to like the yellow bits in combination with the race red and black. I'm posting up some more pics in my journal in a few minutes with at least one more piece of yellow. I'm undecided on the strut tower brace and the rest of the engine cover, may leave those OEM.
Im just gonna say it, Yellow...Brake...Calipers! :eyebulge:

I'll go back under my rock now :ninja:

Got it back from the body shop repairing Hail damage and installed my Lund tune... Took awhile to get it running right...guess who forgot to plug the MAF back in....

Had a truck back into me at a stop light. Damage looks fairly minimal, but I'm taking it to the body shop next week. :(
