Yeah, its the GT350 throttle body that needs the adapter.

Whoa slow down buddy. I miss read the part of the CAI. I was thinking the throttle body.WRONG
The GT350 CAI fits onto the stock TB just fine. That's what the worm-clamp on the GT350 CAI is for.
got a 2018 intake manifold almost ready to put on. Just waiting on tune/lockouts to get here. I started to get some overtime in at work so got extra $. I've changed tactics on what I wanted from the car. Got full Steeda Drag Suspension on now. What to get as much from it as possible at the strip. Why? Thought you were loving it?
From what I could find it appears the F150 doesn't come with an engine cover.Assuming that the F150 truck comes with an engine cover, has anyone researched the possibility of that fitting on the Mustang?
There are several members here selling them. Check the classifieds section.damn i was also thinking about that cover
any idea where i could get a used manifold ...didn't find any around here
and what year fit the 15-17 engine ?? just to make sure if older manifold would also fit
'15 to '17 for sure but not sure if the F150 5.0 adopted something different for '18 as the Mustang GT did.damn i was also thinking about that cover

Yeah, I think you're right as all engine bay pics online show no cover. From what I could find it appears the F150 doesn't come with an engine cover.
Well I ended up installing the F150 manifold last night. As mentioned above the car is otherwise stock (just an RTR axleback) and seat of the pants it definitely feels like it added a little torque in the midrange. Nothing earth-shattering of course but for the $100 it cost me I'm happy. Will eventually add the PP2 to the mix.Question for you guys. I ordered an F150 manifold in search of a little extra torque. I hardly ever go north of 5500 rpm so the slight loss over 6k rpm is irrelevant to me. That said the car is otherwise stock engine wise and will stay that way for some time. I may have missed it, but does the F150 manifold provide much benefit on stock tune, or just with an aftermarket one?
The plan down the road is to add the Power Pack 2. Any concerns running the pp2 with the F150 manifold, since the pp2 tune is based off of the stock manifold.
