Busy Weekend...

Pulled her out of storage, fresh oil change, new windshield (crack), state inspection, and got to try out the ramps I picked up this winter for starters. Worth every penny!

Then on to the fun stuff...
Ford Racing coil covers, sound tube delete, Steeda clutch spring, Steeda hood latch, removed the engine cover, new air filter, and detailed the exterior and engine bay. Really liking how she looks under the hood now!

Oh yeah, and ordered some new wheels last week! Now to wait 7 more weeks for them to come in.

Next up is Steeda shock mounts, CB005 cradle lockout, and splash guards before the wheels come in.

I got my tracking number from CJP for this weekends project.

A few pages back I mentioned I'd ordered a Blowfish Racing shifter bracket from CJ Pony Parts. This was my third purchase from them (the first two being unsuccessful) and I was hoping it'd be uneventful. Of course, it just couldn't be that. I do not think this is a CJP issue, and it's likely a quirk of UPS at this point, currently it shows my order shipping to Germany (but it also shows it's shipping from Germany too). Eh, hoping it still arrives by Thursday.

Also, note on UPS it says, it's a 12kgs package, which is about 26.5 pounds! That's one big shifter bracket!

Also, spoiler alert: I live in Texas, not Germany :lol:

Turbosmart IWGA and turbo blanket installed. That heat shield is a pain, but I got it off and back on without destroying it and with minimal wrinkles. Then we went out on the highway to make sure it still ran and to finish seasoning the Eradispeed brake rotors.

Wow. Stop on a dime.

Color Matched my new front bumper, ARP extended front studs installed, fixed my brake squeal on the right front and got her aligned after the steeda suspension goodies were installed.

Already hit 1k miles. I took the car up to the mountains yesterday and just drove around in a spirited manner. I am really liking the 10spd auto, even on the curves. It's nice being able to keep both hands on the wheel on the hard ones not worrying about taking one off to downshift.

Yesterday, FINALLY installed the GT brakes front and rear on my car. The difference in braking is pretty ridiculous actually.

Where did you get the parts? I'm thinking you needed the larger rotors too right?

Best bet is probably Shelby's auctions on ebay. I got mine for $179.50 shipped and they regularly have them in stock.

Sometimes you'll get someone that wants to bid up, but just go for the second set ending at roughly the same time. He worked the first one up at least $40 more than I ended up paying for mine.

I'm hoping to paint mine tonight (and maybe the stock rear ones, depends on weather) and get them on the car tomorrow.
