25.2 mpg unbelievable!

Nope. Flat roads. Got 3000 miles more since that last pic. 65 mph I was averaging 32.7 mpg. Will post a pic when I get home. Mods in sig.

It can be done, just not by me. I was filling up the other day and talking to the guy on the other side of the pump, who had a 2016 Camaro SS and I was filling my 2016 GT (Performance pack) and then we here this guy in a nice suit holler " (fist pump in the air)Yes! 50 mpg". I look at the Camaro guy, then at my dash and repeat "Yes! 16mpg" and the Camaro concurs 15.5mpg. Then we both giggle and say aren't you glad your not driving a Geo Metro like him?

In my 18 A10 cruising back and forth to work 40 miles each way I average 25mpg with 93 and 20mpg on e85.

I don't understand these numbers that you guys are getting. How softly are you applying the throttle? Are you not letting RPMs rise past 1400? Do you fill up your tires to 40 PSIs for less rolling resistance? Maybe stripped out your interiors, haha? (driver seat only)

The best I have ever seen is 15.2 MPGs but I'm usually averaging around 13 MPGs.

Honestly, I'm not complaining since I didn't buy the car for its gas mileage but I'm just curious. If I want gas mileage, I'll hop into my 2005 Civic which still gets a very respectable 51 MPG (tiny 1.5 liter motor).

Mine is brand new with 3:55's and I take it easy with the gas pedal typically, the car takes very little to get up to speed. I did a 0 - 120 blast during my cruise today of about 120 miles and still averaged 25.8 mpg, granted it was a long enough drive of easy driving to keep the average up.

I didn't buy the car caring about mpg, the car shocked me by doing much better than I thought it would.

I find traffic is a v8s worst mpg enemy. This is where the EB shines in efficiency.

GT manual w/3:55s and PP rims/tires
Hwy 65-70mph an easy 25-26mpg all day.

Work commute with mixed back roads and traffic I avg 19.5-20mpg. That's avg 45 mph and 15mins of stop and go city traffic.

A Co-worker who had an EB that does stop and go traffic for 40mins one way gets 24mpg. My GT would be 15-14mpg

I also found short drives are also mpg killers. My commute is a mix of city and light highway and I get 21 mpg but its a longer drive. On the highway I can get 30+ if traffic conditions are perfect.

I must be doing something wrong. I average 16.9 in mine in about 75% city 25% highway. Work is 4.4 miles from home and it's about 15 stop lights through downtown with 25-35 speed limit. Once I spent an entire tank of gas only on trips to work (2 weeks lol) and averaged 12.53mpg. I usually don't get on it though. Just regular driving....

I tried doing 65 mph on my usual drive today (mostly flat and straight highway) and saw instant MPG gauge almost hitting "40" so low 30's does seem realistic for GTs.

I can't believe anything approaching 30mpg. The best I've gotten on a tank in my 16 prem. auto gt was 25ish. Its usually in the 21-22 range. My commute is about 90% highway and 10% city. Even when I hit the reset when cruising at steady speed in the 60-70 range, it doesn't go above high 26's.

25.6 mpg so far on this current tank, filled up and it says 374 miles to E over 100 miles on this fill still 290 miles left. Will let yall know when i manually calculate the next fill up. An ecoboost can get 1 or 2 mpg more but its not enough to pick the eco for that reason alone! If its what you can afford nothing wrong with the car!

just went on a bit of a roadtrip approx 500miles, 400 ish was freeway but half mountains and half flat. avg prob 70-75 and got 25mpg. cant complain for a v8
