I retired last year but got bored with day time tv and golf 4 times a week. Started working again on a part time basis. Quite different working when you don't have to - anyone pisses you off (and if you are that age you are easily pissed off) you just leave!

If I stay with the system I'm in right now, I've got 25 at minimum before I reach 30 years of service and can leave with no worries at all, figure I'll be working another 40 though and be happy with my 6 car garage at that point.

I was eligible to retire 5 days ago, but am going to work for a few more years ... cuz I'm still enjoying it and my wife isn't quite ready to retire from her job yet. But am sure I'll enjoy it when I do. Cheers to all you young and old retiree's and all the best to you younger pups (no offence) who have a few years ... 20-25 to go. :cheers:

Boredom no way. Travel to Daytona 24 hours race everyear in the 35 ft motorhome and travel to Hilton Head. Fly out to carmel ca. Go to Italy amafi coast . Enjoy the Shelby road trips. Remodel the home. Travel and pick man antiques with wife. Sell collectibles on ebay make room for more. Heck that even pays for more trips. Forget golf no time. Baby sit grandkids can’t wait until baseball little league starts. Goes on and on. :cheers:
