You can make up any numbers you want but they don't offer you any useful information.
Sure they do, if you're curious how a mustang configured like this would match up against another stock vehicle it'd give you an idea. If all you have is engine hp for one and wheel hp for the other its apples to oranges.

Okay, I figured there was a way to make a rough estimate, but apparently not.
If I had to guess I'd say around 540 crank hp. No way to tell for sure without an engine dyno, but a 12% loss of power should be in the ballpark of what you'd expect to see with an automatic.

In all seriousness, there is not. People want to come up with some make-believe drivetrain loss to guesstimate their crank HP #'s but IMO it is a complete waste of time. You can say 10% loss, 12% loss, 15% loss, 20% loss, it all means nothing. If one guy uses a higher number to say he has more power than you, what does that prove?

Now if you don't want to go by dyno numbers that is ok too because there are factors in that as well such as different dyno designs/manufacturers, ambient conditions(not always perfectly corrected by SAE), then of course things like tires and tire pressures even effect dyno numbers.

If you want something more realistic look at your 1/4 mile MPH for a good indication of HP. For comparison '11-17 GT's are usually around 112-115ish as stock or lightly modded whereas the '18 GT's are putting up 118-119mph bone stock. That is a big difference.

Fair enough, thanks for the explanation.

If you use a 15% loss, that makes it 551hp (not so likely, drive train is probably more efficient then this)

Using a 12% loss, that makes it 533hp.

So explain why a 435hp mustang typically puts down somewhere between 360-370. It's not a perfect science and at the end of the day it doesn't matter.

If that is the case then make up whatever numbers make you feel good.

When you receive delivery can you show it off in Beanacre, Wiltshire to a bud of mine Mr. Wolf?

Sure. Pretty much down the road from me.

I have a friend with a Magnetic 16 who lives around there too. He’ll want a nosey as well

FWIW, I'm not arguing or doubting- genuinely trying to learn. I didn't really realize how many variables were involved. Grimace's explanation above was super helpful.

I don't always intend to sound like a DB, sometimes it just happens.

Me personally. I will not put any stock into the dynos I have seen so far because they have all been posted by business whose whole purpose is to gain customers/business for the 2018. Everyone I see with a 2018 is either tuner/parts distribution or sponsored. How many non business/sponsored dynos have we seen so far?
