Time for an update guys..... I was happy but upset. I went to the track and on one of the passes ran an 11.6, which was not the fastest of the day, but have not bested my 11.30 run. On that 11.6 run I had a really bad 60 ft! 1.86 to be exact. If the car would have hooked just the same as before it would have been an 11.0-11.teen. The car proved on that pass it has it in it. But we do not live in a world of putting the best timeslips together to make that theoretical pass. I'm all about getting it done.

Today we are having the new Exedy Twin disc and WOT box on the car in preparation for Bowling Green. It's crunch time. Finish Line Performance states that there won't be as much of "riding" the clutch with it now, more of on or off. This may help or hurt, but one thing is it will be more consistent! It seems like with the stock clutch, it's hard to be consistent in the slip and throttle control.

I'm thinking about setting the two step at 6000 and going from there. This will be the final changes for a bit, as it seems when you keep changing things your always chasing your tail and never getting use to the car.

Also FLP recommended going ahead with the Viking shocks as with this new setup they said I will need them. I almost hate putting those on as I love how it handles on the street!

Looking good Evil, you having any squeaking issues with those rotors? My front ones squeak a good bit under light braking unless they are cold or very warm from some hard stops. Normal driving after a few minutes and they will be noisy until I do a couple hard stops. Nothing I can't live with just a bit annoying. Love your setup, it really has me wanting to do the cams! (any possibly switch to cj setup)

They squeal a lot under light braking! I called Baer and they said this will stop after zinc coating is gone and pads are bedded. We will see.

It's tempting, but I have never went that route. Seems the logical way to go is Turbos or an all out NA build.

Yesterday I went ahead and ordered the rear Steeda Shock mounts and Viking Warriors also.... seems with those shocks I can use them at the dragstrip and aggressive street driving.

Let us know how those shocks work out. I only wish Viking made a front set also.

Evil, what is your wheel and tire setup and rear gearing? Do you mind sharing your mph? Low 11's is impressive, good luck in BG

Those are great et's for that mph. Is she consistent at 122+? As bad ass as those 6GR wheels are I bet a set of 18x5's + 17x10's would buy you another .1-.2 and 1-2mph. Good luck, look forward to seeing your progress

Yes, but as air gets better MPH picks up... Wheels and tires would help I'm sure, but have too much invested in current setup. Hopefully this fall I will gain 2 mph and then I believe I will be happier.
