Motorcycle owners usually wave at other motorcycle owners.
Jeep owners usually wave at other Jeep owners.

Do Mustang owners usually wave at other Mustang owners in your experience?

In my experience, I've got a wave from 1 out of 10 Mustang owners. About 6 out of 10 owners would just ignore me and the other 3 out of 10 owners either rev their engine up, want to constantly race or act stupid, or both. What's your experience?

If your experience is like mine, why do Mustang owners not wave or be friendly? Immaturity? Superiority? Trying to be a hoonigan? :tsk:

Well considering there are way more Mustangs on the road than Jeeps, motorcycles, etc, Hell this morning when I was pulling out of my neighborhood two S550 passed by, one EB and 1 V6. I don't blame people not waving all the time. I will usually wave at a Mustang if I notice it's modified because I know they are into cars, etc. Or if I see them checking out my car. I'm not waving at every single person I'd see in a Mustang. My hands would never have a chance to be on the steering wheel.

No because most modded Mustang drivers are assholes alpha types. They just grimace.

Nearly every mustang in my area has 30% tint or more, so more times than not I just drive on by. If they have their windows down or I can see them, I'll give them a wave or a nod.

I have to say, I got far more nods with a foxbody than S550.

No, I'm too busy texting, taking selfies and snap chatting.

The real question is, will 2018 drivers wave at the old Mustangs from 2015-2017?:D

UK - always a flash of the lights or wave (assuming I'm paying attention!) I can go weeks without seeing one on the roads here, different world :ford:

Definitely too many new ones to wave in some areas....unlike Vette's I always give and get a wave!

Around here NO ONE driving a mustang even pays attention to other mustangs. They just have them because it's a car it feels like. We have quite a huge mustang number around here but the ONLY ones ever modified are SN-95's. I usually catch the attention of most the modified sn-95's. Had a Terminator stop on my side and ask me to roll down my window the other day when we were stuck in traffic. BS'd back and forth and said he loved the car and the new models.

Regular mustangs though? Not a chance. Either too stuck up their own ass, or just honestly don't care what so ever. I've met a large number of them as I'm an admin in the areas largest group, and boy are there a lot of asshole mustang drivers lol. I used to try and wave, but no one pays attention. I get quite a few waves everyday in ordinary cars though that I wave back to!

I get waves from other car people. Many Mustang drivers are just out to get from A to B. Classic muscle car guys are the best. On a slow city street one time, I got a "great ride!" shouted to me from a 70's Hemi Cuda. I responded with a wave and a "beautiful car" in return. Car guys just seem to appreciate others' cars. The daily commuters don't get it.

Same here but then again, I even get friendly waves from Camaro and drivers in other American cars, Had a guy flash me the other day who was driving a battered 50's Ford pick up.

Honestly I think most people that don't know mustangs well, probably don't even recognize it as a mustang on first glance.

I've got a pretty good "enthusiast detector", so I'm selective, like someone above said, most classic owners are friendly, and I do wave a few Mustangs around town with about 50% return rate :D

I was behind an 04 GT and the guy yelled something at me. I didn't hear what he said. But I'm sure it was like nice car. And we had a pizza delivery driver go down my road and I accidentally pulled out in front of him (not like he had to slam on his breaks) and he smiled at me. He was in an older red mustang. So yes some mustang owners are cool. :)
