The plug would probably leak when you drive but hold when parked. Just went through this on the wife's car, plugged it myself, no bubbles or leak overnight, when driving lost a couple of pounds. Probably flexs too much on the edge.

Anyone have any suggestions for a base bumper valance upgrade? Have a Magnetic 2016 base GT, would like something more aggressive or just even something that looks like the premium valance. Is there anyway to attach a premium valance to to the base bumper?

Interesting point on the tune calibration question. Saw on Jay Leno's Garage the GT500 runs a self-conservative tune first 500 miles unless I am mixing that up with another car...watching a lot of youtube car stuff lately!

Is the premium bumper cover 2 pieces? In the sense of is the black lower extension section a separate piece? I have a base GT and would love to get the more aggressive premium rear bumper look without having to get a entire cover and paint.... Thanks!

For non-direct injection would say no need, might help on an old beater. For direct injection think the jury is still out whether any of the cleaners help, or whether a catch can helps here.

Agree on the prep - not 18 and up but did mine when they were new. Just removed, 3m scuff pad, alcohol wipe, they sprayed.. Been almost 4 years and 50k miles help up fine.
