Don't need you eyes. Just let go of the clutch when you hear my exhaust in front of you.

3.55s work for me ...
I really like mine too helps when you don't have a converter gives the car some more starting line oomph like 60fts. My friends cars with 3.15's 60 ft similar to mine but my car is heavier so I know they help.
What tire are you guys running on?!? I keep going back and forth between these two for my car..

Since your car is an automatic I would go with the drag radial not the bias ply tire. The bias ply was mainly for stick cars.

I run the first link you posted 305 45 17 et street R's they work excellent don't need that long of a burnout either.
Thanks guys. My thought for using the bias ply R was because a few tracks around here aren't very radial friendly. Some of my buddy's struggle to get down the track with them, figured I might have a little better luck with them over the radial...

The other option is to go with a 29 or 30 inch tall tire with the 3.73's.

Old thread!

Why run that monster tire? Ive ran 3.73, 6r80 and 28 a bunch. 1.26 60ft. Works great.

Wow, it is an old thread.

Why run a tall tire, because they hook better, assuming a taller sidewall.

Thats a general statement that doesn't take into account many important variables, but ok. Carry on.

Just picked up a 2017 gt premium auto with 3.55 gears and I am looking to do a supercharger and had some questions.

Are the 3.55 gears too much for FI?

Would I be better going with a centri vs PD with 3.55's?

Been looking at Procharger, probably an H.O. kit. MAK Performance claims the H.O. kit is rated at 750HP. While other sites have it listed at anywhere from 45-60% hp gain. I realize it is impossible to say exactly what each car will make, but I am looking for 600-650whp.

So what are some realistic hp #'s for the H.O. kit?
With the right pulleys 750 is absolutely no problem. I have made 892whp on a modified H.O kit
