Searched quite a bit but haven't found much input on anyone doing this kind of build. I'm asking for help mainly because I'm quite new to all this procharger/supercharger life. I DD my car, I love her but I have a Auto GT mainly because the commute. I've always planned on boosting her but now I have realized I'm having quirks about the acceleration.
So to the point.

Question: Should I change out my 3.15 rear end to a 3.55 for better off the line and/or acceleration? Would going the procharger route be just a good? I'm talking about having a 3.15 and off the line from a red light. I think those with 3.15s would agree she pulls like a bus when easing into speed. I know a whipple will give me all around linear power but I'm curious if a procharger would help out, even just a little bit down low with a 3.15.

Should I just get a 3.55 and it'll pretty much solve most of my issues? I don't really go hard at all, I've mostly just gunned it going on ramp to match the highway speeds. That probably doesn't require a supercharger, so I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions.

Thanks in advance!

Depending on the amount of power you want, why not start with a good tune. Some of the newer tunes can add up to 50 whp and 35 tq. There is a couple of threads on this.

I have the 3.55:1 gear and really like it,and I told my salesperson that was the gear I had to have. 3.31:1 is an option as well I believe for your car, correct me if I am wrong. There is a trick to this S550 platform gear change if you increase too much the size gear. Being it take's more than just a tuner to do a swap.

Id recomend a converter to go with your procharger. I have 3.55 gears and a circle D 4c converter. The car still has great streat manners.

3.15 and a whipple here. Great combo and the 3.15 gearing is a handful on the street due to torque of the whipple. That's with bmr drag springs, viking shocks, 315/35 conti ECS tires and other suspension goodies. Wish i had 3.55 when i was NA, now very happy to have 3.15 after whipple install. Very good combo at the track as well

Anything with a Whipple or Procharger on it is bad ass.

Let us know if there's anything we can help you with.

you can't go wrong with any power adder on a coyote. We're big centri fans, but love the pd / screw blowers as well. feel free to give me a ring and we can go over your wants / needs / goals and see if we can put a combo together for you that works well! we are the forced induction specialists!

I have 3.15 with a Circle D converter and Procharger. Very happy as is, it's easy enough to spin the tires now so higher gears would only make that worse.

Whipple stage 2 , A6 with 3.15 gears. Car is crazy fast off the line if you can get traction. I CANNOT imagine 3.55s LOL I drive with the paddles 99% of the time. It allows me to get the revs up and NOT spin as much.
