I run the Mickey Thompson et street 28" tall drag radials you want to run a 28 the 26" are too short don't look good no sidewall in my opinion and don't hook as well and make your gears too short. When you go to the Wallace racing gear calculator plug the numbers for 3.55 and 28" tall tires 1.14...

  7. Race fuel, Few questions?

Hey just little input I know what your asking. My buddy went to a dyno session with MS109 the car wouldn't put in the proper timing so to make a long story short run purely race gas for whatever gas your car is tuned on because the oxygen content and stoich is very specific we had Sunoco race...

  9. Some questions for tvs or vmp owners

I have the blue K2 filter and all my roush and vmp buddies as well. Also on the highway with the lid off the car...
  10. Gearing and differential?

Absolutely correct you want less gear FI especially on a stick. My tuner says that less gear has a better mechanical advantage meaning it takes less horsepower (fewer teeth) to turn .Also less gear shows more power on the dyno too I know its load factors and what not but still. If you notice all...

Hey have you talked to Ken about trying some MS109 fuel I bet the car would run even harder Its oxygenated I bet it would help your 60 ft too.Excellent runs on pump gas and Octanium. We out here in Ca only have crappy 91 our blower cars on 91 craptane and octanium show positive knock...

  15. Supercharger Questions... (oh god let this be civil...)

I like the roush! performance is awesome, very quiet so much torque and throttle response. In the auto cars you can run the stock converter which saves some money. The quality is top notch, you can't go wrong with most of the blowers nowadays there all pretty good I like the PD blowers for the...
  16. VMP gen2-r owner questions

Myself and my buddies are all on 69mm pulleys. I think the boost is around 14ish and 15 on a cold night . 17. Throttle Body?

yea no matter how many tune changes the cars drivability just wasn't smooth. So I traded my buddy with '14 with roush blower for his twin 67 all the issues went away. Then his car ran perfectly with the mono blade. So idk haven't looked back since.
  18. Throttle Body?

:headbonk: oh and BTW the mono blade throttle body surged and drove horrible i would stay away from that one at all cost.
  19. Throttle Body?

I would do a twin 67 vmp throttle body with a closed air box my results are in my sig we tried the car with the lid off just made the IAT go through the roof and made back to back passes and the car actually slowed down slightly with lid off.:)
  20. TVS Recipes

yep no machine work! only if you go with a 66mm pulley or 63mm you have to machine the snout on the roush blower. But the VMP BLOWERS COME MACHINED FOR 8 RIB SETUPS 66mm pulleys and 63mm.
