Man. That is so fricking impressive. Your "pump gas" 302 cu in motor does 156mph in the quarter... forget the 70's, these are the good times to be a car guy.

Congrats again man/Hellion bro!
I am so jelly right now! Your are trapping faster than some of the 8 second cars on the list so only a matter of time before you join that club.

Ever thought of doing the double piston rear drag brakes from aerospace ?
I just had mine delivered but can't test it out for you as my car is down.

It should help turbo cars build boost at the line as it will hold car at higher rpm.
I am hoping it will help my 60 ft.

Then there was the guy who said he had a bump box/trasnbrake combo that would not break your transmission .No recent updates .

Hope to join you soon in the 150+ mph club (and 8 sec ) soon.
I'm trapping faster then all of them except 1, only .2mph slower. I'd love to start stripping out weight, including the rear brakes, but I haven't crossed that line yet, she's still a full weight premium with 12 speakers and Navigation, haha. I think I can get into the 8's as is, just need to stand on my 2step for longer then 1 second, some good weather/DA, and if it doesn't work then I'll go for the transbrake.

Damn !
Just watched the video.Car sounds awesome too .Just seems to purr without any trace of smoke/steam out of the exhaust .Must be tuned to perfection .
She spews a little e85 out the tailpipes, but not bad. The steam goes away when I run 93 or on a fresh oil change. Ken was tuning trackside as usual, even past 11pm last night, the dudes a machine.

May be lose some weight ?
With the aerospace front and rear you could drop close to 100 lbs of unsprung weight most of which is rotating mass from the rotors .
That's my plan anyway .
Even more if you ditch the 18x9 fronts for 17x4.5 skinnies
Corbeau front seats and rear seat delete could be another 100lbs.
Trust me, I've thought about all of those things, haven't ruled any of them out, just haven't committed to full "race car" yet

Is the "2 relay " trasnbrake the same as the JMS?
Any worries about your transmission?

That's hauling the mail for sure! We're knocking on 150mph at 4120lbs (with driver) at 20psi. Trying to get the trans brake up and running (2 relay). Hope to join you up there soon!
Thank you sir! I'm sure you'll be there soon, these damn auto's get complicated when you're making power, stall, 2step, tbrakes, plus tuning, has to all come together.

I dunno man, haha, but I'm probably going to go with the JMS transbrake, since it's compatible with my msd 2step. I'm learning as I go with auto stuff, it's a first for me, I've been drag racing manual trans cars for the past 15+ years. I'm not worried about my trans, it has a billet input shaft and exedy clutch packs, and if it breaks then I'll upgrade. I'm sure I'll have to pull my converter after this season and have Circle D freshen it up.

Im runnin same upgrades in my trans with transbrake and I talked to terry over at beefcake and he said the trans wont last long with the transbrake. Swells the drums. Even with the upgraded shaft and clutches. How do you have the 2step hooked up without the transbrake.
