Is it possible to turn the traction control all the way off. It seems in track mode it will still kick in.

Hold TC button for 7 seconds - screen will say "Advancetrac disabled".

(It's stability not traction control to be exact).

Go into track mode. Then hit traction control button once. It'll say traction control disabled hit ok.

Hit ok and don't wrap around a poll lol.

Is there a difference in the previous two responses? Does holding the button and disabling Advance Trac do the same thing as disabling traction control in Track Mode?

Shrug. I've even disabled traction control even on normal mode and it was fine. Just one touch of the TC button. Was able to achieve what I wanted.

Yes. Traction control is not Advancetrac (Stability control).

Track mode disables traction control (so hitting TC button once is pointless) but there is still some stability control left. Holding it for 7 seconds turns stability control off completely.

I always drive in Track mode with TC off. Even in heavy rain like today in Cinci. No reason to have it on.

Sorry to ask again, but I'm having a similar problem with my car. It was doing this before and after I installed a supercharger.

Here's the issue: When I accelerate hard from a stand still (completely stopped), the car will go into a protective mode and cuts power. I'm not getting sideways or anything and the wheels could be barely breaking lose. I've tried with just traction control off, I've tried advance trac off, in normal, sport+, and track modes. It's frustrating as hell!!!!!!! It seems as soon as it senses any loss of traction, power is cut for what seems like an eternity.

PLEASE help. I would like to keep the Ford Performance tune in it, but I'm starting to believe I have to go with a Lund tune and have that feature disabled permanently.

Thanks in advance.

My car is a 2016 Mustang GT PP

Take out fuse 62. That's what I did. Fully disables AdvanceTrac AND Traction Control.

Holding the button/switch down for 5-10 seconds does not fully disable everything.

Every time someone asks how to disable TC I picture one of those cars and coffee crashes:doh:

Just leave TC on is my advice. It does not make you more of a man if you turn it off. Many times it will just make you a joke when your car makes it to YouTube.

That was exactly what I was thinking but didn't go there

There are 2 levels of driver aid:

-Traction Control
-AdvanceTrac (Stability Control).

Pushing the TC button/lever will only disable TC (straight line wheel spin, Stability will still intervene to prevent the car from sliding in a corner). You need to hold the lever for 7 seconds to turn off AdvanceTrac (Stability Control).

Once you toggle driving modes, AdvanceTrac reengages and you have to hold the button again for 7 seconds again.
