Don't hate insurance companies, hate your fellow drivers.......insurance is all about numbers and they price your policy based on loss history for the particular model of car. A lot of young people own Mustangs and young people tend to have more accidents. Insurance on a Corvette typically less than a Mustang, for most people, because the majority of Vette owners are middle-aged men who don't have wrecks with nearly the same frequency as teenagers and 20 somethings......;)
Yeah, I got that speech from Allstate when jumped from a C6 Corvette to a 06 Pontiac GTO. Insurance went up by $80 a month and all because of accident statistics overall. I knew the GT would be expensive but it's twice what my e46 BMW was.

I want one and can swing it, but to me it's not worth the ~$25K delta. Besides, I'd miss my porno red interior. :D

And I have a short list of other motorcycles I'd rather add to my existing fleet. ;)

I would snatch one up right now if I could find one in Avalanche Gray with black roof and electronics package at MSRP.

I'm pretty happy with my GT, but GT350 would be like icing on the cake.
I can't find anyone that will sell me one at MSRP though.

I don't sweat it. It would be nice, but I live within my means. The guy with a GT350 is probably dreaming of an AMG GT, and the AMG guy is dreaming of a McLaren P1, lol. Besides, most of what we drive are depreciating assets.

Slickest move Ford made was making the Voodoo engine model specific (so far anyway). They could have likely tuned the Coyote to make close to the same HP but I doubt that would have been enough to command the +/- $20-$30K premium, depending on model, over the GT....excluding ADM of course.

Without the 5.2, Flat Crank engine, I'd think you'd be seeing GT350's selling at discounts by this point with the number of cars that have been produced.

I would if I had a garage and could afford a 2nd daily driver since there is no way I would daily driver a GT350, but having to use my Mustang as a daily driver I'm very happy with my GT Premium. I do love the GT350's though. The GT350's style and sound are perfect.

Probably never gonna see one with my own eyes, sine I live in Denmark, Europe. And with 150% cartaxes here a euro-spec GT is 100k USD+, so just gonna enjoy the shit out of my GT when I take delevery of it, come spring. Allways dreamt of owning a true American V8.

I'd love a GT350 if I could afford it. However, I tried to get as close as I could to it, A premium PP GT with Recaros. I'm happy for now :D

For the street the GT is more practical anyways. If I lived in Germany I would probably go with the GT350.

The GT is more than enough for cruising on highways with 65 mph speed limits
