The only car to ever trade in is one that has fully depreciated. Trading in a 15/16/17 Mustang is a bad financial move. Sell it yourself if you're going to make that move. Not enough changed to the new model to make me even consider one. That new F150 Diesel on the other hand....hmmm.

I'll call partial bullshit on this one. Cost of living has gone up I'll agree on that...but I'll say NOT way harder for a single individual to live on a average salary. It's called living within your means. You can easily survive, eat well, and have a place to live making 25-30k a year...

Forget the GS and get a Zo6 if you're going to do it. You can find them used under 70k. Are you showing signs of balding? That is usually a requirement. :lol:

With your two concerns... 1) Ride quality is subjective.. what one person thinks rides well, might not be the same for someone else. Meaning some people like a firm sports car feel, while other want plush. Either way, if you didn't like the ride of the Mustang, having an extra 40k on hand...

2017 BMW M4 Higher price to purchase. New well equipped = 80+K Higher cost to insure. Higher cost of maintenance. Higher cost of mods (tuning, parts, etc) 2017 Mustang GT Cheaper to purchase. Cheaper to insure. Lower cost of maintenance. Cheaper to tune and mod. Debatable...
