So how many of you out there dream of having/getting a Shelby GT350?

Don’t get me wrong, I love my GT. It is a fantastic car and love looking at it
but man would I love to have a GT350 sitting in my garage.

The looks, the engine, the handling, that wonderful exhaust note.

Unfortunately just out of reach. Perhaps in a few years I could pick up a decent used one but cannot get a new one.

Just curious, anyone else have the same cravings as me?

I did when I first took my 16 GT Premium for an oil change and saw one on the showrom floor. 3 hours later, I drove out with my 17 GT350.

I know exactly how you feel.

I traded in my 15 GT for one.

I would love a GT350.. but hey, I'd be happy with a GT.. Lol.

I hate insurance companies with a passion.

IDK, I think if it were lighter, I would love it over Corvettes.

GT350 would be a great weekend car but I'm not sure I'd use one as a daily driver.

This GT gets me around the state pretty efficiently. Also, my insurance rates are already absurd with the GT I can't imagine what the GT350 would cost me.

True, Insurance would also be expensive.

But I certainly would not do any mods to it other then perhaps some simple cosmetic stuff.

Meh, they're pretty sweet but I don't see the cost justification. I think they are over priced personally.

Dream car for sure but it would have to be in a fleet of multiple cars. It would become a bit unbearable in Metro DC traffic. The dealer mark ups are hilarious. The dealer I bought my v6 from had one on the showroom floor for 20K over sticker. My gf asked why, I said "Because they can."

I love the way they look and I almost signed the papers on a 16 GT350 but I have more money for my savings at the end of the month with a GT.

I think the gt350 is awesome, but if it was my money, i won't be buying one. At $63,000, I rather get a Cayman or something a bit more refine.

I think about trading for a GT350 fairly often. However, I then realize that I already have a '15 GTPP with Phase 1 S/C with low miles (<2,000) and owe less than $20K on it and would have to add another $25K in debt, at bare minimum, to own a GT350.....well, reality hits me square in the head.

My insurance did not go up at all when I went from a GT Premium to a GT350. If coming from an EB or V6 I suspect it would be higher.

Don't hate insurance companies, hate your fellow drivers.......insurance is all about numbers and they price your policy based on loss history for the particular model of car. A lot of young people own Mustangs and young people tend to have more accidents. Insurance on a Corvette typically less than a Mustang, for most people, because the majority of Vette owners are middle-aged men who don't have wrecks with nearly the same frequency as teenagers and 20 somethings......;)

I got the bug as well. Loved my GT to death. Fun car, but I kind of miss my GT because of all the work I put into her. For me it was more the looks. The wider front fenders, that hood that looks like a cobra with a raised hood, and the winglets on the bumper. Screams more exotic sports car than muscle car. Also my insurance only went up $13 a month. My gas bill has gone up significantly tho.
