Curious if anyone has paired this with a V6 grill. I imagine it would work fine, but the design seems like it might rely on the GTs grill to hold it in place.

It may work but I wouldn't trust it. The GT grill protrudes further holding the snorkel in place. After comparing the two the GT grill looks to be better made and can take advantage of the snorkel better. Plus you can fully dremel out the honeycombs (which wouldn't look right on the V6/EB grill).

That's what I was thinking and meant by it relying on the GT grill. I'd be more than willing to find out for sure (if Velossa Tech doesn't know if it'll work) if they want to send me one to test out.

If the GT grill isn't needed to hold the snorkel in place, then this product can be opened up to those with the V6, EB, 50th anniversary or Pony Package grill.

Does this extend far enough for those with a grill delete?

Uhh.. how else would you run it? If you didn't do a grille delete or go aftermarket, you'd have honeycombs blocking the way. Grill delete all day!

Hey bud, we tried it on all those grills. It only works on the GT grill. The other grills dont have the fang (the root of the problem/blockage).

Right on, thanks for the info. I picked up a GT grill today. So this may be in my near future.

Ordered! 6-9 day turn around :-( I was hoping I could get this done while my G/F works this weekend. She's getting jealous of the Mustang. Lol

Some people just dremel out the center of the honeycombs. I went grill delete w/mesh.

The other grills dont have the fang (the root of the problem/blockage).
So your saying the V6 and ECO really wouldn't benefit from this because the GT grille design is what prevents the airflow.

They will benefit from it with the GT grille. Adam has gotten his best numbers with this, a GT grille, stock box, and AEM filter.

Yes when I switch to a GT grille I'm definitely buying this kit.
