It's a very easy process actually, I would be worried about it.
I think i am gonna go for it. Just as well buy the JLT Intake with the Lund tune and Ngauge. Be nice to see a change plus cooler weather is coming in a month or so.

Yeah I meant to say I wouldn't be worried about it, it's an easy install. I have a JLT with a Lund tune and it is awesome! Search and I have a thread with my impressions, etc. If E85 is available in your area go with the flex fuel tune!

Is the flex fuel tune really worth it? I'm considering it but not sure if E85 will give me a noticeable difference I can feel.

Running E85 is like running race fuel. The car can run more aggressive timing safely.

Let us know if there's anything we can help you with.

Thanks, Jared

So does intsalling the Lund tune rewrite over the stock tune? Can the car be changed back to stock? Sorry for all the dumb Q's. I always had a tuner do my stuff on my LS cars.

When you first flash the car, it backs up your original file. So if you ever wish to return back to the stock file you can. :)

Pretty funny watching these pushy vendors passively fighting to get people to buy their boxed tunes...how they can be passed off as just as good as actual time spent on a chassis dyno is beyond me.

I enjoy the contribution the vendors bring to the forum and don't think they are pushy.

You don't always have the option to get a tune done locally that is worth what you paid for. I would take a mail order tune from someone who has the experience and knows what they are doing over someone who doesn't have as much experience, but has a Dyno. Being able to datalog the car through the device takes away a lot of the necessity of needing a Dyno.
