Your Whipple doesn't do that?mine doesnt do that...
My fans shut down before that sound. Otherwise I'd say the same.Couldn't hear this over the fans if I wanted to.
You sure that's what it is? I believe it is the IC pump shutting down. But I could be wrong i guess. I would think a vacuum leak would last longer and be a little more quiet inside the cabin of the car.Vacuum leaking down when you shut the engine off. They all do it now.![]()
Ok, so you have the slightly older set up. My fans shut down immediately. They also won't kick on until the car is running. I know with the slightly older config the fans would kick on without the vehicle actually running, and they stay on for a couple seconds after shut down. And if I am correct about the sound being the IC pump shutting down, maybe the folks that hear it are those of us with the newer high flow IC pump..? Just a guess on that part.No I have no sounds. Fans shut off about 2 seconds after I kill the ignition.
My fans turn on the second I press the brake and turn off >10s after I've walked away from the car.Idk about slightly older. Just ordered it end of May and have put 1000 miles on it. My fans come on after engine is running.
Aftermarket cal vs ours.My fans turn on the second I press the brake and turn off >10s after I've walked away from the car.
My NA GTPP makes the same sound when I key off .I have verified that it is not the pump, with the engine off I jumper end out the relay to bleed the IC and the motor is pretty quiet. Jump got hot as hell but no fart sound.
InterestingMy NA GTPP makes the same sound when I key off .
It sounds like a pig snorting . a check valve bleeds air when I key off. The air released is not a poof .[ame]Interesting
