I told them I wanted to stay legal in MO which is 35. They said with the 45 over the existing factory tint I should still be legal.

I don't think they know what they're doing, that's nowhere close to 45 in the front. They should've pulled off the factory tint first.

Looks darker than 45 to me too.

But FWIW the factory tint can't be removed; the glass itself is tinted, not something that can be removed.

Installed the coilovers last night but of course forgot my phone this morning so can't upload a picture. poppastang on instagram. Only got a shot in last night but went semi aggressive on the stance and love it. Really mean looking. The rear fenders are level with the top of the tire and the front is tucked in some to give it a semi rake look. I put all of them on 15 clicks which is middle of soft and hard. ride pretty good. definitely not harsh maybe a little to bouncy might tighten them up a little testing them. The car going into curves is pretty much flat now over the PP struts/shocks/springs. Will ride on them for a few weeks and give a full verdict.

one way to be sure: go to the police station and ask a friendly officer to help you make sure your tint is legal. They'll do their little light test thing and then you'll know.

youtube vids show it actually lasting after a month..i was pretty surprised

I can vouch that Plastidip has been holding up on my coolant tank under the hood. Months with no issues. Not sure about exhaust tips.

If you dip the whole tank, the lower part gets really hot from the coolant and will make it soft but it won't cause it to peel or anything. I only kept it on the top half from the seam.

I was going to dip my two tanks,overflow,master Cyl but wasn't sure it would take the heat or accidental fluid spills so I payed out and got the covers,still thinking about painting them the same color as car.
