It's not the only option. Edp performance has a single turbo kit. I'm having it installed in less then 2 weeks with a precision 76/75 turbo.
You cant even put a filter or velocity stack on the end of their kit. Thats a fail in my opinion. They dont even tell you what the "bigger turbo" option is but dont mind charging 2000 more for it. Also, a single valve upr set up is not going to cut it for force induction, it needs to be a dual valve. It also doesnt cost 1500 dollars to coat a down pipe Do they even know what their doing?

Have you called or talked to them? They are layed out the same as jpc turbo for the 11-14 cars. I have talked to them and know what I'm getting. Also if you would ready the description it says all accessories pricing is not correct. You can put a filter on it they just don't show it.

Actually its not based on their picture, its similar but its basically over in the stock airbox area unlike the jpc 11-14 kit or their 11-14 kit which isnt as far over. In the picture shown you can see that lip that protruding from the fender area. I skimmed the description. If they can put up a note that pricing isnt correct they can fix pricing. I should be able to trust the listed price. Is their picture not accurate either? Didnt feel they were worth a call based on what i saw.

if your in the market for a single turbo kit for the S550.....this is kind of your only option at the moment.

will you be selling this kit at your store?
It's not the only option but there is not much out as of yet. As far as whether or not we sell this kit I wouldn't know. That's between the boss and JPC to discuss. I don't believe they sell their kits to other shops to sell though.

Oh god, I hope you change your mind or at least they learned some lessons from their spectacular failure of their 11-14 kits.

That's because they copied the JPC only have issues with it unlike the JPC kit. Also, why this video was made a year or so ago.

When I messaged EDP about the new 15 kit, he said that they only have ran it at the track on a 14 but it ran good times. LMAO what in the world. I'll pass.

The dead giveaways for me that they didnt know anything was the the fact they left no area for a velocity stack or filter, single valve catch can and 1500 dollars for a down pipe coating. Get the hell out of here. It costs that for a full SET of long tubes which is much more area to coat. Supposedly the pricing isnt correct. Who the hell does the work on your site?

EDP is a waste of time. They get mad when you ask for a dyno showing power past 7k. All the dyno's flat-line at 6500 and drop by 6800.

Well we appreciate all the positive responses from you guys.

For reference this kit will be based of the Garret GT42 based turbos. So we'll be offering an "entry level" kit for anyone on a budget with a GT42 76/75 cast wheel turbo. This turbo while offering the same inducer as the old 76/75 has a much larger exducer and will flow more air.

From there we have the option of going to a billet wheel GT42 76/75 for anyone looking to make around 1000 or so.

Beyond that this kit will directly interchange with precisions "85" series turbos. That includes the GT42 76/85, 82/85 and 86/85. All of these turbos we have used in the 11-14 cars and have been 7's with, so it should offer enough power for any application (up to an estimated 1400hp or so). While still offering a responsive spool time. All of these turbo's are T4 based turbos and some of the largest T4 turbos available.

With this kit as we do with our other kit we do supply Heat Shield Products titanium heat wrap (usually 50+ feet) and a turbo blanket standard to keep the heat at bay and allow you to work on your car without getting burned.

Yes the crossover pipe clears the balancer, while it is close it does clear.

I haven't been able to figure out pricing as of yet as we just finished getting the kit prototyped. There may be some changes and revisions to the kit as we continue our R&D, so none of what you see is currently set in stone.

The kit does clear the AC and all the other accessories. Though some wiring and a few other things do need to be relocated. The kit is going to be as usual all 304 stainless steel.

Let me know if you guys have any other questions and I'll do my best to answer them all for you guys

Im interested! What turbo size would you suggest for a th400 swapped with the 2.10 ratio with a curb weight of 3600-3700 with driver thats looking for 7.90s@165-170mph? I was thinking 8285. This would be a car thats driven on the street every weekend as well as the track. Id prefer to not push the turbo past its efficiency. Id like longer then 2 seasons of life out of the turbo. Thanks in advance!

is the TH400 in a S550? if so, we are doing a 'Glide into a S550, wouldn't mind PMing to find out what we are in for. i know the 'Glide is smaller than a TH400, so wondering how much massaging, if any the tunnel needed

Not yet its not. I got my info from watson racing. They have done it. Supposedly the glide needs more massaging. Also watson sells a new weld in tunnel for the th400. I wouldnt use a glide unless youre going to get it around 3400lbs with driver. I prefer the th400 personally from what ive seen its just a more robust trans. The th400 is what watson builds the cobra jets with too.

I believe jpc prefers the glide on lighter applications like i mentioned and uses the th400 on heavier builds.

we found more room with 'Glide, guess it's vehicle dependant.

nothing wrong with the 'Glide in a heavy car, we have 4000lb+ cars here running high 7's low 8's with mid 1.2 to low 1.3 60's. getting the converter right is critical.

These 4000lb cars probably have more cubes too. Im just passing on the info from jpc and watson that have the coyotes figured out. Best of luck!

they are actually smaller cube, 3L-4L 6-cylinders. The 4L Inline 6 produce more torque than a Coyote and the small cube 2J/RB's leave on pretty high rpm. TurboGlide and you can have best of both world's 2 & 3-speed.

100% agree JPC are leading the way with modulars/Coyote we just like to be different in Australia
