Ford germany is now telling their dealers that grabber blue is not available anymore for EU Mustangs. They are not even sure if orders in that color will keep Grabber or have to switch to another color, they will inform the dealers later about that. :headbonk:

WTF Ford? Since all Mustangs are build in Flatrock I really don't see a point in not offering the color in EU anymore

Does it clash with any colours that the local constabulary use? Aren't some European Police Cars light blue or light blue w/ white?

I don't think so, but it's a good point. Maybe there's one export country where that's the case so they are cancelling it for all export models

Is there something official to back these claims? Isn't the colour on the German configurator?? Considering it's very similar to BMW's Yas Marina Blue & Volvo's Rebel Blue, I couldn't imagine a logical reason for such a decision. Someone should ask Deysha from Ford Service to confirm...

The configurator seems to be updated with deleted colours removed but grabber blue isn't there and lightning blue is also absent from the options - no blues for Germany??

Check all Volvo configurators in all the different countries and check for the Polestar color options :p Maybe we can identify which country doesnt like light blue.

Liquid blue is ok for the Focus RS, but Grabber blue isn´t for the Mustang? I don't get it.

The color is still in the configurator and was printed in the updated prospects.

But after a few reports about problems to order Grabber Blue Mustangs in germany a truthworthly dealer told on the german forum this morning that Ford is officially informing the dealers that they cant order Grabber anymore

So strict in Germany. I hear they are only going to offer Black, RaceRed, and Yellow.

If I lived in Germany, I would order a Race Red car, and then add black and yellow stripes, which are spaced apart as each stripe is wide. Get it?

Maybe it's illegal like tri-bar drl's :frusty:
Ahh so that's why the DRL's are always off when I watch videos of the Euro Mustang.

It's so silly how lighting laws can differ so much between the US and Europe and seem to contradict one another. We can't have Audi's sequential turn signals because the lit area is too small, yet you guys can't have the Mustang's sequential turn signals because you need an amber bulb.

you can have the DRLs on import cars and people in the UK have paid to have them re activated on the UK cars
Yes the sequential turn signals are illegal, but some people still get them converted with the amber flashing but the 2 reds are still on.
for my CS I have got a duel light system fitted, so for the UK only the amber is lit and press a switch and it turns into the US sequential
