I know $700 doesn't buy much now days, but say you had $700 and a pure stock 2015 GT what would be the best bang for the bucks for better performance in 1/4 mile?

Thanks

Then IRS parts. 1/10th off the 60' is approx 3/10th's off the overall ET. These cars blow to launch with MT.

Extra power via tunes and whatnot will help slightly, but make launching worse.

Tires (since it looks like you're on the option 19" A/S P-zero Neros).

Lund FF tune. Tires (at least drag radials) generally need upgraded axles so they don't explode. Slicks take a little of the stress off the drivetrain.

Lowering springs, Steeda subframe alignment and bushings, 20mm wheel spacers art all 4 corners will set you back about $700 if you do the installs yourself. Everything but the springs are pretty easy. Springs aren't too bad if you have some auto move expertise and air tools.

Sorry to hijack thread but what do Subframe alignment bushings do? I see them mentioned a lot

As far as IRS you thinking lock downs? I know my number one issues right now is traction. No wheel hop at all but from a dead stop I'll spin bad all through 1st , 2nd and a good part of 3rd. I have 3.31 gears. And I do have the 19" option so trying to find a good street tire for a 8.5x19" is probably going to be tough. Especially here in remote Dodge City Kansas. This is dirt track territory. Closets 1/4 track is 1 1/2 hours away. They have started having 1/8 mile races just 15 miles away at an old airbase runway.

I just want to be able to feel confident if it came down to me and a ss or charger/challenger. I'd also really hate to have my lunch ate by some mod'd out honda LOL.

I want to go Hellion TT but then I know I'd have to upgrade so much more. I already priced to have a Hellion TT installed locally and it was outrageous.

Add on's.

Both help with wheel hop and firm up the rear end. The kit is less than $200. Well worth it IMO

Best $700 bang for the buck I'd go anything in suspension, knowing the tune will shit can your warranty and you need more pieces to really take advantage of a tune.

or

Lowering springs, cradle lockouts, and vertical links

If you start with either of those you will be happy!
