+1 do they help wind inside the engine bay?
i guess supposed to get air out... notice my steeda intake ran a little warmer though.

I think your car looks better without it. That huge cowl on the nose was the equivalent of sticking a giant wing on the back - it looked unbalanced and didn't do anything for you. Your car has nice, clean lines from your carefully calculated mods. This one just upset everything.

Of course it's just my opinion however ;)
it's really weird feeling now that i've taken it off.

I go back and forth on whether I like the look of the cowl hood.

But at the end of the day, I'd only put a cowl hood on if I actually had a reason to put it on and need the extra clearance. The loss of frontward visibility isn't worth the cooler looking appearance.

It looks totally awesome, but I completely understand why you'd be lukewarm about it.
half my problem at the moment is finding a shop that wants to paint it. they all want to paint half the damn car which is NO with that new roush bumper...someone has to be able to get it close like roush can.

in the meantime if someone wants to buy it off me, i'll let it go.

Installed the GT350 track pack spoiler courtsey of White Bear Lake Ford.

Required ZERO surface correction; the entire gloss black finish was flawless out of the box.

OEM part quality of fit and finish = WINNING

Took me 1hr 5 minutes to install whilst simultaneously eating a bowl of spaghetti.

My Stangs booty just got a whole lot sexier :first: Next on the agenda...going to spray my GT trunk emblem gloss black.
This looks amazing!! I love it!! Your car looks hot:eyebulge::love:

Rims and tires

what size wheels and tires?...and will you wait for the springs to "settle" before you get an alignment?

I have 20x10 and 275/35/20's squared. I'm not going to wait a few days for things to "settle". I did go yesterday to attempt to get an alignment and had a couple of minor issues getting it within factory specs. The guy at NTB just could comprehend how to adjust the rear. So, now I've got to find a shop that really knows what their doing and hope for the best.

Bought a pressure washer (1600psi electric ryobi from home depot) and ordered a foam cannon with some soap from Chemical Guys. Never used a foam cannon or any Chemical Guys products before, so hopefully it turns out good.

Buy a cheap electric leaf blower to blow the rinse water off...much less water spotting and a single microfiber towel can be used for small drying areas if needed.
