whelp this was unexpected! yes I'm going to dip the orange vents on the cowl black.
I'm still not 100% sold on the cowl hood to be honest.

oh it's nuts. the car looks mean as hell rolling. i just keep going back and forth if I really like it or not and if it's for me.
Hey Khyber....the screens at the back of the hood at the windshield... Are they just for additional venting or hooked up to anything??

whelp stock hood back on. I just couldn't get over the color not matching...i'm on a quest to find a shop that will respray it that doesn't want to paint half my car including my brand new roush bumper that I just got two weeks ago...

anyone who wants a cowl hood cheaper than you can buy it unpainted and wants to pick it up. pm me.

I think your car looks better without it. That huge cowl on the nose was the equivalent of sticking a giant wing on the back - it looked unbalanced and didn't do anything for you. Your car has nice, clean lines from your carefully calculated mods. This one just upset everything.

Of course it's just my opinion however ;)

I go back and forth on whether I like the look of the cowl hood.

But at the end of the day, I'd only put a cowl hood on if I actually had a reason to put it on and need the extra clearance. The loss of frontward visibility isn't worth the cooler looking appearance.

It looks totally awesome, but I completely understand why you'd be lukewarm about it.

Installed the GT350 track pack spoiler courtsey of White Bear Lake Ford.

Required ZERO surface correction; the entire gloss black finish was flawless out of the box.

OEM part quality of fit and finish = WINNING

Took me 1hr 5 minutes to install whilst simultaneously eating a bowl of spaghetti.

My Stangs booty just got a whole lot sexier :first: Next on the agenda...going to spray my GT trunk emblem gloss black.
