Has any of this testing even been completed on the vehicle? It was mentioned in promotional posts on this forum that extensive track was done on this product but we haven’t been told what tests, we haven’t been shown any data. Anyone can make claims, that’s easy to do. Supporting those claims with data is hard. If this testing hasn’t been done then how do you determine what your goals are for this product and how it actually affects the car? It seems like a lot of shooting in the dark and hype to me.
You can just go ahead and repost this on every suspension part available, including the Ford Racing ones.

I'm not sure why this product jumped out at you as having unreasonable claims among all the others.

Brad Michaels, I have a VERY good idea.

I will send you out this $99 CB006 brace, at no charge to you, for you to test. You can then post your results in this thread. I will even pay to cover the shipping to you. After testing it, you can keep it or do what you wish with it.

That sound like a plan? Let me know, I will have one sent out of the next batch we are working on!

Now that is product confidence right there! :headbang:

Anyways, got mine installed. Pretty straightforward.

Quick tip when putting in the spacers, wedge then against the step; you'll be able to tell if it is equal on both sides by looking down the subframe hole. Take a 1/4 extension and using the socket wrench end against the spacer, carefully drive the spacer in place. Once you see a through-hole, use a drift or punch to center it. I used a sharp punch and my trusty steel winding bar i use to wind my garage door coil springs. View attachment 72873

Hi Kelly, I was just looking for some answers to the questions I asked, not looking for a handout by any means! Really appreciate the offer although I am just looking for technical data regarding this brace. If you don't have the technical data, that's fine, I was wanting to reference it prior to making a purchase as I have no problem paying full price.

Installed yesterday. The spacers were a bitch to get in but with some brute force we succeeded. I like how the car feels now as the front end seems more responsive and planted to the road. Also, the cowl (on major rough roads) shake on this vert is gone. I need more seat time to evaluate more but so far it looks good.

BMR Front Brace Installed

Got the Brace installed yesterday. Didn't run into any problems with hanging Chads :D

Once I got the tires off it was a 15 minute install. Super Happy with the product.

Well, this CB006 has been a homerun for us, and feedback has been just excellent.

We looked into the thickness of the spacers, and I think we are going to keep them as is for now. I know they may be a little tedious, but we feel they are best as is.

Our first batch flew out the door, and we were able to get a small second batch in - now we are working on a larger 3rd batch.

I have discovered a few fitment issues. V6 cars, the gussets touch the oil pan. I tried to resolve this with some different size hardware and some spacers, and it almost worked....but no dice. So after we get through with this 3rd batch, we are going to address this issue.

I also found out that this brace, unfortunately, does not work with the latest version Kooks LT Headers. One side clears, the other side with the primary that goes straight down around the starter, then back.....slams right into our brace. That is very unfortunate because I do not think there is a work around, or resolution, other than Kooks changing the tube path. I doubt that is going to happen.

I have confirmed fitment here at the shop, and through customers, with every other brand of LT headers that I can think of.

For those reading that have not received your CB006, I am hoping we start shipping the next batch late next week. Thanks!

Well shit, my plan was to go with Kooks... We're you able to confirm with AFE headers?

I have not confirmed fitment with AFE headers.

If you will post a pic of them in here, I could give a really good educated guess though.
