Can I ask why this bolts to the lower control arm mount? Is that an area that actually deflects vs. a bushing in that mount? I'm not an expert, just in comparison with Steeda's approach I'm not getting why they're so different to brace the front.

There isn't much comparison when you have them both sitting side by side.

The forward bars on the Steeda are barely triangulated and the mounting location is close to the center of the car where it is too late to have much effect. Not to mention the whole bar is made of a much more flexible stock.

The BMR bar is heavily triangulated and takes the flexing force right from the control arm mount where the force is entering the chassis. It's a much sturdier piece for the small weight difference.

If you'd like to buy the Steeda bar and are willing to pay actual shipping just PM me. :D

Anyone with ARH headers and the brace installed willing to confirm actual clearance? In the market for headers in the near future.

There is a pic in this thread of the clearance - that is what we have on one of our cars. ;)

Clears by a mile.

That the new style or the old style from ARH ? ;)
Not sure. Not my job to keep up with what header companies do.

I ordered them through American Muscle approx 6 weeks ago.

You can always call them

i made a post before commenting on the bolt size of 1" shown in the instructions. The bolts i received with mine are 24mm, which is fine being that the LCA bolt is also 24mm. Either the instructions are wrong/outdated or the parts list was ninja revised after i commented :ninja: Standardization goes a long way

I got a first batch also and the instructions are wrong, or the bolts are a different size for fun. I recieved 24mm vs. the 1 inch that are noted. Also how many washers are supposed to be included 2 or 4? I got 2 for what it's worth.
