BMR's Front Suspension/Subframe Brace ALMOST Here!

Kelly, in the instructions it states to lift and remove wheels. If I am using drive up ramps, is this okay? Was not sure if the car needs to have wheels off the ground to disconnect the LCA bolts?

Ramps are not going to work. There will be too much pressure on the LCAs you probably will not be able to get the bolts out, certainly not back in.

I also wouldn't want to be under the car on ramps when I took those out since I'm not sure how much the suspension would droop.

You have to have the front suspension unloaded for this.

Mine has arrived also. Just brought it in and opened it up. Scheduled with my Buddy to install this coming Sunday on his car lift. I will get pictures of how/if it clears Stainless Works/Power headers. It is surprisingly much lighter than I was expecting the first time I lifted it up. Roughly 9 lbs 5 oz on my scale.

I'm stuck on installing the spacers in the frame. Seems there is a little lip on the inner frame that is preventing my spacers from fitting.

Took awhile but if you gingerly bend the lip of where the metal was pressed eventually the spacers fit, not sure if thats kosher considering its the frame of the car but it worked. I also took a bit off the spacers themselves.

Yea but there isnt much they can do he said. If they shorten the spacers then when installing you run the risk of pinching the frame.
