I could always run cam c for the pro solo,... Then run stp for Nationals?

To many decisions.

I am going to sell my MRR M350 19X10 wheels with 285/35 /19 Bridgestone Re71r tires.
Shipping would probably be high,.... would prefer picked up.
But can ship if needed.

How did this weekend go for you guys?

I take it by selling your wheels and tires that you are moving on to ESP instead?

It was a very cold weeweekend again.
I won stp both days,... 23rd in pax on Saturday and 8th in pax Sunday out of 150.

Yes I am moving to ESP /CAM

It just bugs me not to have better people to run against on the east coast.

NNJR had a fast and pretty open course due to first event of the year in the area and around 170 drivers. They got everyone 5 runs, even with multiple timing issues.

This is my first RWD car, so I wasn't expecting a lot... And I delivered. Ha! I ended in 117th. On the last run, I finally used the full brakes. I'm building my confidence.

On an unrelated note, a lot of people came up to look at the car. There is much love for the ruby red.

At least it's new class #130something but still in a Mustang :D

k757...I hear ya. Last year was a big transition for me into rwd. Twice the power, not twice the tire and everything happens the opposite from what I was used to. The Mustang is WAY more fun!

Not to running to the defense of Simmons, but let's get real. We all strive to have and compete with competition. While STP may as some point be successful. the SCCA really set it up for failure by having both CAM-C and STP which were very similar but allowed guys who modified pony cars to go to ST. Problem is the ESP rules and CAM rules much more align and people have acclimated to CAM rule set to the detriment of STP participants. If the M3's were allowed, I'd consider playing with Simmons, but that's not the case. I wish him all the luck in CAM-C or ESP and go from there.

As I sit at home feeling under the weather on a Friday with awesome weather outside I thought I'd share a pic from way back in my autocrossing life. This is why I'm so excited about the STP class. Back in '99 when ST first started I jumped in with my Neon and I even have that car at the house now. ST is where I had my best results and so far after going back to that category with my current car I'm seeing hints of that already.

Fingers crossed STP takes off like the category did originally.

Just sharing...

Was that with the JRZs on?

Jealous of your videos showing higher speed, open course sites. We have nothing like that in Oregon.
Unfortunately no...... Stock shocks and really high rear spring rate.
