Go directly to hell.

That kind of playing takes about 40-42g plus the pricecof the car. Soo..about 70-74g. It sounds like a lot but to haul that much ass is a brand new car its rather cheap.

I was looking at 65g in my gt500 plus the price of the car (65 otd) thats a cool 130g. Yeah no thanks
Yeah I don't have that kind of coin haha. I am a school teacher haha.

I didnt have the much cash to drop either. I dont have as much free money to drop like some of these guys around here. 130g was more then i was okay with. I have my home on the beach and my home back in stl. Plus i like traveling. I just cant wrap that much into one car. My sti and mustang gt is enough.

I found the gt to be a stupid bargin to go fast. You're doing alright as a teacher, youve got a 40,000 some odd car and a house. Youre doing fine for 24.

It was faster. Yes the Mustang had 8 more gallons of fuel. But on a sub 40 second course, 8 gallons is not going to make up for almost .3

Dude you are the one that posted that link haha. You posted a link of the organization that you are desperately holding onto, and it proved that the 5th gen ( not the 6th gen haha) is faster than the S550 haha. And now you are trying to say that a .3 difference is actually a win.
But you forget the 2015 season and the GTPP's performance. I witnessed the performance in some occasion and followed some in the Regionals.

That is the slowest GT Ford makes... and it had a lot of fuel in it. The 2015 wasn't even there to be placed, it was used as a control. It almost beat the 1LE

Even Sam was surprised but thePill wasn't. I seen GTPP's weigh 3670-3680lbs on 3-5 gallons of fuel eat the 2015 1LE's alive. The first run in Texas had a GTPP take two 1LE's

I have never feared a 5th Gen, even in an S197. The S550's are just so much better.

Don't let it consume you, thePill spoke of this last year.

Anyway, back to the zl1. Don't drag the SCCA into a zl1 discussion.

It was the slowest GTPP. And that could have been the slowest 1LE, with the possibility of it being a 2SS.

The 1LE was positioned to be the best handling Camaro of all time. There should be no reason a Premium GT is on top of the 1LE according to MT.

Please, limit 1LE SCCA talk to that thread.

The car has amazing performance and I agree With the others meant to compete with the GT500 not the gt350. I must say though, this thing looks almost identical to an SS. Other than the hood I wouldn't be able to tell them apart, they did a horrible job separating it from the other models in regards to looks. At least the GT350 will never get confused with the GT

So if history repeats itself thepill we be around long enough to bash the new zl1 until the performance numbers drop. Then just like with the release of the the 6th gen he'll disappear again until Ford drops the gt500. By then his swallowers will be ready to cheer him on again.

Considering that almost every article written from all the magazines noted it as well, I'd say you have more than just one piece of evidence.

What did they note again? That the car did two continuous hours of driving without displaying any of the heat issues exhibited by the Z06 Corvettes? Again, these were not instrumented tests, so there is no way, without data-logging, to know if the car was pulling timing or not. Sounds more like this was just a GM talking point that got regurgitated by multiple outlets.

You have to understand, they have to come here for drama because any pro-Mustang opinion on their sites equates to automatic banning. It's really not his fault.

Wait....I though they already made this car!!! It's called the CTS-V, Correct?
- Alpha Platform (CTS-V, ZL1)
- LT4 (CTS-V, ZL1)

I understand they're called General Motors. But make the ZL1 have something exclusive to differentiate from the CTS-V, and Z06. I understand from a investment stand point...but look at the Mustang, with is exclusive 5.2L Voodoo engine. The 5.0 is shared in the F150 (I think), even the 5.8 in the 13-14 GT500's were pretty exclusive.

Cool story Hansel...

Having a Z06 motor sounds pretty tits to most people. :)
