I would actually just say GM in general. I have had just as many Cadillac's as Chevys.

If it was losing power after two runs, I would say it did need more coolers haha.

The heat exhangers needed to be changed. After that it was fine majority of the time. I had around around 950s in mine.

But as I said, it would only take one. Not multiple.

Because the car was engineered up front with enough space to fit a single HE with more than enough capacity for mega power. The stock HE was pretty girly once the wick was turned up but there was a shit ton of room for something better.

I think chevy is trying to fix this issue and then some. I think 11 is overkill. But at the same time, I would rather them go overkill than skimp and it start sucking power after 5 minutes. If Chevy can be trusted (I think they can given their track record with eh 6th gen) then they ran their cars for two hours with zero issues. That is damn impressive given the nature of S/C engines, and the LT4 in particular.

As an ex Camaro owner. I can honestly tell you 1LE owners think they own Z28s. They post in the Z28/Zl1 sections like they belong there.

It's possible GM doesn't intend on releasing a Z28 and they state the 1LE competes with the 350. There is also no engine that anyone knows of that could up its game to 350R+ territory like a Z28 would. I am wondering if GM over engineered the shit out of this car because it's the end all be all track offering coming for the Camaro this Gen or for a long time maybe. Track capability could be that crucial to this model this go 'round.

Edit: Also their chance to make up for Z06 issues and embarrassment.

Agreed, I see no other approach. It really will be like the GT350 offering at that point too, so it makes total sense. Same engines etc, just more track focused and lighter. Exactly like the Stingray v Stingray GS.

$5K over sticker and had no issue doing it. The dealer and I agreed to the price when I ordered the car in June and when it was delivered in January, we remained true to what we agreed. The dealer could have EASILY gotten a heck of a lot more selling it to someone else, but they are a stand up group; which is why I have dealt with them for years. Considering the deals they've given me on my more pedestrian cars over the past 20 years, $5K over for this car was not an issue. Congrats on never paying over MSRP for a car. That and a $1.47 will get you a 20oz Coke at the corner store.



So, now the writer of the article was data-logging the car while they were driving it for two hours straight around the track. Right. Must have been Mr. Wyndbag from over on Camaro6 doing the article. Sounds like his level of amateur journalism.:lol:

Considering that almost every article written from all the magazines noted it as well, I'd say you have more than just one piece of evidence.
