  1. '17 GT350 vs '17 Camaro SS 1LE

Still gonna cost a lot less than a TP essentially. By quite a bit.
  2. '17 GT350 vs '17 Camaro SS 1LE

I took it as it's an excellent car for the money. And again, it didn't have the brake ducts attached. Those make a huge difference. Funnels air directly to the brakes. If in the end a simple fluid swap and pad change is needed for extended lap times then they are fine.
  3. '17 GT350 vs '17 Camaro SS 1LE

Most cars taken to the track need those items anyway. The SS also didn't have the brake blades installed on the car during the run. It's a 45k car. Anywho, here is Randy's comment from the actual article. "That braking capability was very impressive, almost unbelievably good considering...
  4. '17 GT350 vs '17 Camaro SS 1LE

Rear seat delete, no ac, no radio
  5. '17 GT350 vs '17 Camaro SS 1LE

That's the R. Base 350 is what I listed. TP is heavier. Now the 17 has the stuff standard. Has anyone weighed their TP 350?
  6. '17 GT350 vs '17 Camaro SS 1LE

The SS 1LE is lighter than both. Only the R is lighter. 3781 is he listed weight for the regular gt350.
  7. '17 GT350 vs '17 Camaro SS 1LE

Thanks, fixed it. Got them mixed up. Point I was making is that you can't take a base SS and add that equipment to it and expect it to maintain that distance in weight.
  8. C&D 2016 Lightning Lap Numbers (GT350R Included)

Don't mind ole Blue. He just likes straight lines. Anything that deviates from that and he doesn't know how to adjust .
  9. '17 GT350 vs '17 Camaro SS 1LE

Zane they never promised a 230lb decrease. That would mean the 1LE would have to weigh less than the 1SS. The SS only lost 224lbs from last gen. Tell me, how does a last gen 1LE that weighs 3880lbs lose 230lbs when a base 1SS weighs 3680?It doesn't. Again, as usual he is stirring something...
  10. '17 GT350 vs '17 Camaro SS 1LE

yep, let the scca approve it. The GT needs it. But if they allow it and those upgrades to happen that will leave he door open for others to follow suit. I am interested to see what the Mach 1 holds in store. Personally, I'm going to be joining NASA. Lot more competitive racing and much...
  11. '17 GT350 vs '17 Camaro SS 1LE

The only thing people are really needing to swap out are pads and fluid. That's the norm for any car though. And I agree the six pistons are going to make a big difference
  12. '17 GT350 vs '17 Camaro SS 1LE

So styling is 50/50. Among those who actually come to look at the Mustang. But on the other hand gets more than just that I assure you.
  13. '17 GT350 vs '17 Camaro SS 1LE

I've been doing this for awhile. The price is not necessarily the determining factor anymore. There is a reason why the Mustang is selling that much more than the Camaro and the price game isn't going to matter much longer. The Mustang will continue to outsell the Camaro on livability...
  14. C&D 2016 Lightning Lap Numbers (GT350R Included)

Yes unfortunately a lot of people take it seriously.
  15. C&D 2016 Lightning Lap Numbers (GT350R Included)

Nobody's telling anybody to buy anything here. That's everyone's own priority. Their own decision. This is a thread about tracking however. And it shows just how capable both 1LE packages are. Carry on now.
  16. '17 GT350 vs '17 Camaro SS 1LE

We mainly have 1ss Camaros on our lots and they are sitting. It is what it is.
  17. '17 GT350 vs '17 Camaro SS 1LE

That is true. I'm talking about the price differential now.
  18. '17 GT350 vs '17 Camaro SS 1LE

Of course the gt350 looks badass. I'm talking styling and how that affected things like the trunk opening etc. Performance and price isn't really the problem. Well except Ford is giving away the Mistangs now. Chevy will soon follow suit.
  19. '17 GT350 vs '17 Camaro SS 1LE

Design. And was originally price. That's been laid to rest now. Design sells.
