Haha. Isn't that the Honda Accord thing Acura made for a while?
I used to own a 350Z awhile back. The place to be was my350zforums.com.

There was a famous thread there about a guy who bragged that with only bolt-ons (I/H/E), his Acura RSX Type S (with a 2.0L four, stock it was 200 bhp, 161 lb-ft) was pulling away from stock Z33s (with a 3.5 L V6, 287 bhp, 274 lb-ft).

That thread reverberated throughout the import car culture for a few years.

This doesn't remind me of that specifically, but I thought a little brevity was in order.

It stopped and changed driver and sat and sat and ran for two hours only to stop for gas and different drivers. It had plenty of time to over heat but didn't. This has been stated many times. Two hours not sure how many tanks of gas. Not sure the amount of time sitting with no air circulating.

NO LIMP MODE !!!!NO POWER LOSE. !!!' Go back and see for yourself.
For someone who professes to have owned a Ford GT, you would have a better understand of how a supercharged vehicle heat soaks. A car doesn't have to go into limp mode for the control module to take out timing when certain parameters are met. No amount of coolers are going to prevent it. Laws of thermodynamics cannot be canceled.

I have no doubt the car could have gone around a track for two hours without going into a failsafe mode. All I'm saying is that it would not traverse said track with a consistent lap time.

And that would be power "loss", not "lose".

I said it earlier too. There's a reason N/A track cars like the GT350 are so coveted. Otherwise it's "just" a run of the mill 526hp car

As an ex Camaro owner. I can honestly tell you 1LE owners think they own Z28s. They post in the Z28/Zl1 sections like they belong there.
HAHA.....You're right. All bench racing too. People are more worried about how fast their cars are than how fast they are in them.

Then maybe you should take back what you said to him. He has just as much of a opinion as the rest. My point is when someone doesn't agree with you, you try to make it a point to make it why "you" think the slowmaro is better.

He was not replying to an opinion, only baseless misinformation. NO car enthusiast wants that in their forum.

Not true lol. I am car enthusiast on here posting about cars. I have in this very thread commented on how awesome the 350 is. I am posting on here about how you should all sell your cars and buy Camaros. I love mine, and love that we have a choice between three awesome cars made by american manufacturers. Nor do I belittle people by driving "lesser" cars.
"Don't you drive a Honda?"
Zane. Bro.

You're a cool dude.

You make good points many times as well.

And you are a rare find when it comes to debating the pros and cons of Mustsng and Camaro.

But...

It's been quite obvious that you are very much a "Camaro guy."

Just own it.

It's a good time to be one.

Let's see how much ADM did you pay ? I've never in my life paid ADM not even on my 05 Ford GT, Pm me if you want to see the sales receipt. The article said NO timing was pulled and temps were normal. Get over it ....your 350 might not be as fast a ZL1. The article about the performance car of the year said the 350R was getting dangerously high temps during testing. Go back and read that piece.

I definitely am! Zero doubt there. But I am not a fan boy in the sense that I cannot see the flaws of the Camaro. The lack of storage is annoying lol. The visibility is too sometimes (although not as bad as some have said haha). The stock spoiler is ugly.

But I would classify myself as a car guy. I always have been. I love the S550. As soon as it was in the showrooms I went to play with it! I had just bought my CTS-V, or there was a serious chance that I would have been driving home in it. I think Ford really nailed the design. I do not know very many blind Camaro fanboys that would go as far as to do/say those things.:cheers:

As a previous modded GT500 owner, I know all about heat soak. I'd get maybe two good pulls on a hot, humid day before the stock heat exchanger was taxed and performance suffered. Well known on those cars.

However, even highly modded GT500s don't need 11 friggin' heat exchangers. :eyebulge: Just one good one.

If it was losing power after two runs, I would say it did need more coolers haha.
