Need4SpeedMotors Have you heard anything about the BFG G-Force Sport Comp-2 or have any expierence with them? They are a good price and seem comparable to the Conti DW tire. Just curious about them cause I've never seen them mentioned on the forums here, but I figured if someone knows about them it would probably be you

Could those with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires please share their opinions on these tires? What makes them the best? The best traction wet and dry? Best comfort, road noise, etc? Just curious!

Thanks

Most of the reviews I've seen say that they are rough riding and noisy. I will be ordering a set of Continental DW tires this weekend in 285/35r19 for a 4 corners.

The BFG is literrally one of the best bang for the buck setups onn tires out there, I have done a good number of setups using them and they have been accepted with love and open hands by members.

They are the top tear for a summer tire, wet and dry traction is on point, they last a good amount of time as well, limited road noice, good comfort as well.

I Can't wait until my P Zeros are ready to be replaced. I think I'm about halfway through with 9K miles on them and I am having a hard time keeping traction in 1st or 2nd. I will be replacing them with Michelin Pilot Super Sports. I had them on my last car (B7 S4) and loved the grip they had. On top of that they are one of the few performance tires that offer a tread wear warranty so you can plan your replacements.

Here's a comparison that expands upon why they are so good.

NT555 G2 or NT05?? Which one would you suggest for the rear. NT05 would be 275/35/19 and the NT555 would be 275/40/19.

The problem I had with the 19" 305/30/19 Michelin Pilot Sports on my 2013 GT was that I had to run about 38 to 40 lbs of pressure in the rear to keep them from "swaying". It was weird, but apparently its very common to need to run higher pressure with them, and I really didn't care for that because my car was a daily driver and it made the ride worse. So I'm hoping to find a good option other than the Pilot Sports.

How unadvisable would it be to run Michelin pilot super sports in the rear with my Pirelli p zero's up front until they wear out?

Yes, that is a great tire for the money. They have great wet traction. There are a couple tires rated a bit better for dry traction, but the BFG's are very sticky and very predictable on the track.

Ford Racing Performance's Mustang Experience cars out at Miller Motorsports Park are running those tires on all of their 2015 track cars. Very impressive. I also rode with one of the instructors for a few laps and was very impressed with what he did with that car. Also, Gateway Mustang runs those tires on their performance cars and swear by them.

I put a set on my 2007 last year after running the 2015 with them out at Miller Motorsports Park last spring. There's a good chance I'm going with those same tires on my 2015 GT PP long before the Pirellis wear out, possibly even with under 1,000 miles on the car, since I'm considering a new set of wheels here very soon.

I'm running the Cooper RS3-A tires. They are rated at 40k miles. Almost 10k so far still looking good.

I had the PSS on my GT500 loved them. But I have been hearing a lot of good things about the NT555 G2 tires. My pick would be between those 2.

I'll go MPSS next tire change just to try them, but I'm really enjoying my Bridgestone S-04 Pole Positions. They're totally different from the P-Zeros. Instead of grip grip slip, they break loose progressively and they're very predictable.
