Alright, it's been 1000 miles and I don't like the way my GT with PP feels going through turns, alot of bounce from what feels like the rear. I am looking for something that feels like it's bolted down, stiff, what one would like to get from a Corvette,911(Or close enough). My budget is between 1000-1800. I hear some not so great things about the Roush V1 and the comparable BMR coilovers. Please help!

BMR handling springs, FRP struts and shocks and BMR CB005. That will help you out a lot.

Here are the struts and shocks.

I keep hearing good things about the FRP struts and shocks, must be good. How are the BMR handling springs? I want to close the wheel gap on my GTPP. I am looking for a drop but I want max performance from my drop.

The handling springs with FRP struts and shocks are amazing. My car handles and feels so much better. I have steeda linear springs on PP struts and shocks before my new setup.

I have all the Steeda suspension parts installed except the rear camber arms and bumpsteer kit.

Ultralite linear springs
sway bars
billet sway bar mounts
red differential bushings
rear lower control arm spherical bearings
G-trac brace
IRS subframe braces
stop the hop
IRS cradle alignment bushings

The handling and driveability of the car is completely transformed. The only piece lacking are the Koni struts and shocks that I will get once Steeda has them in.

Pictures of my setup.

Contact David@Steeda for great pricing for what you think you want for your suspension setup.

The good news is that there are lots of different options for you in that price range. Everyone is likely to recommend what they have on their car, assuming they're satisfied with it. I went with Eibach Sportline springs (previously had Steeda Ultralites, but I didn't care for the drop or the fitment), BMR sway bars and cradle lockout kit, and the Ford Racing shocks and struts. I tracked the car previous to the FR dampers and BMR lockout kit, and the car was performed great and was very predictable. I'll be tracking the car again this spring, so I'm looking to see how it feels with those additions. If you want an "all-in-one" solution versus going piecemeal, you could always go with the Ford Racing track handling pack.

Good luck with whatever you choose!

Thanks!

The drop on the Steeda ultralites are about 1.25" all the way around. The stance is truly perfect on this. I have zero rubbing running 285/305's, too.

I am running -2 degrees of camber up front and -2.2 out back for reference.

How is it going over speed bumps? I have a couple in my neighborhood. I have a garage at work, how is it going up parking garage ramps?

I would look at the adjustable Koni yellows over the FRPP struts to go with your stiffer lowering springs. (Not that FRPP are bad or anything, just Konis are probably better).

I would change tires, as well as some rear end mods. The P-Zeros are just terrible.

They're also quite a bit more expensive. As with everything, it depends on how much you want to spend.

No issues. No rubbing of any kind with any of the suspension components.

My office parking is a 10 story parking deck. I enter at level 2 and go up to level 8. Not one issue.

Depends on how much you want to spend. The FRP are only $511, that's hard to beat. They handle better than anything that I have used in the past. There is also a test somewhere that was posted in a thread. I believe that they picked up 3 mph on the slalom with FRP struts and shocks.

I am close to pulling the trigger on the ford racing track struts and shocks - pairing them with the Steeda Ultralites. I am told the BMR pair well too, but less drop and a bit harsher ride. Today I have steeda progressives with PP stock struts & shocks.

Alos have a bunch of other Steeda stuff installed that I love.
