Anyone have a video of their Paxton car? I am ordering the kit tomorrow from Terry as he has been awesome to deal with!

I have the Paxton kit with the cat deletes and picked up 228hp to the wheels over stock. I haven't had a chance to take it to a track due to time of year but hope to in the spring.

As Beef says, we'll see what's in the puddin. ;)

Can any auto mechanic install one of these? I cannot work on my own car at the present time. How does the Lund remote tune work?

we send you a base file for startup,

and then datalog back and forth with you til the tune is perfected.

any decent mechanic should be able to

How often does the back & forth have to happen? And for how long typically? I am assuming this is a less efficient approach that just taking the car to a performance shop.

usually pretty quick, once your in the que,

as far as less efficient, i would disagree. lund will have probably 10-500 times the amount of experience than any performance shop you take the car too

in addition, you are getting a real world tune on the car

however, we can remote tune on a dyno as well

I worked with Lund a couple years ago on a ProCharger set-up and it was a seamless process. They were very responsive and it was all done in about a week. I'm looking forward to working with them on a Paxton set-up this spring!

I was just imagining having to gather datalog and email back & forth a number of times to tighten up the tune, rather than just dyno.

Do a lot of people take this approach? Bolt on, and then remote tune?

Also, can the PD S/C be done the same way?

I'm betting lund's start up tune will be fairly close to the end tune used. They tune so many mustangs they have to know the safe reliable file to send out by now and be pretty close. It will probably be just minor tweaks based on that cars quirks, gas quality and install quality.
