Honestly peak power usually has very little to do with a 1/4 time slip. Power band, where the power is made, and where the car is shifted to keep it in that power band is much more important. Having a turbo making power more efficiently, and earlier would help on many aspects of the 1/4 mile including launch, shift points, etc. I think this argument is pretty pointless, everyone should just be happy the platform is performing so well, considering how new it is, and leave it alone.
