It has a bigger compressor wheel and turbine wheel, which I have made over 50whp with just a COMPRESSOR WHEEL upgrade. You have both, which could net you MUCH more than 50whp.

FP Green for example is good for 100whp over the stock turbo on Evo's. It is a small comp wheel, and a minor upgraded turbine wheel.

All modifications should be disclosed if you are claiming records.
I'm definitely not 100 whp over stock turbo.

I gave you an example, I wasn't saying yours was 100whp over the stock turbo. I'm showing you that upgraded wheels can make a huge difference. Vargas Stage 1 is good for 45whp PAST 5000rpms and it is just a compressor wheel upgrade. His Stage 2 is a comp wheel and turbine wheel upgrade and is expected to support 450whp.

Knowing you have both tells me that you definitely have an advantage over everyone looking to go as fast as they can on the true stock turbo. Playing coy isn't going work with most of the people on here, sorry.

He was givin an example. Weather it gave you 50 or 99 hp. It's still not a stock turbo and gives you a leverage over everybody else who actually have stock turbos. If the extra HP wasn't a problem, I don't see why you didn't mention it in the 1st place.

I think it's more principle. Internal modifications are the line. We all generally agree that bolt-on parts are just that, once you crack the housing or dig into the motor- it's internally modified. Maybe more clarification on what internal modifications are should be added to the fast list categories (they seem to be close to the NA guidelines).

You can modify the stock block with better rods and pistons and it won't make more power- it's just more durable. Just like the new turbo wheels. That doesn't preclude it from being in the big kid list, IMO. I would fully be expected to get tossed in the internal mods list if I ran a VTT or other stock turbo frame with upgraded wheels.

This doesn't take away from what was done on the stock frame turbo with minimal modification, indeed it was a very quick run.

There also needs to be a consensus on how many damn records we are going to have. I have news for ya, come spring, I will have the fastest EBM with E85 and a child seat strapped in the back with factory cloth interior.

An impeller with 2 extra blades VS stock will not make any difference.

If not, then she should be able to do that same run with a true stock turbo yes?

Have her do it and this all goes away...

First you said you didn't know she had an upgraded turbo, now you know the specs of it when she doesn't?

Also, Garrett proved your statement to be COMPLETELY wrong. They did testing from 6, 7, 9, and 11 blade wheels and settled on the 11 blade wheel which out performed their 7 blade comp wheel by a long shot.

I'm sure Vargas is on his way in.

This is my child's seat! Junior size :)

Nice, Kirkey? Are those custom brackets or off the shelf? I was looking at a FX1 or Kirkey, they both came out within 5-6lbs of each other with everything factored in.

Kirkey makes child seats too, however I think they frown upon kids sitting in the back with a roll bar in their face, lol.

You make it seem like this is some slight at us. We have never laid eyes or hand on the vehicle. For us to "make" her swap an impeller is a little...strong, no?

How about we go on the top of the list as the fastest remote tuner?

Turbo everything
I'm staying out of this one. But I will say one thing, as we offer billet wheels in stock size for the N54. While they technically do not make more peak power, they make power in a more efficient way (more air moved per shaft revolution), and do so earlier in the rev range. We had a customer running just the wheel upgrade break the N54 "stock turbo" 1/4 record, and it was quickly stripped from him. The only difference between that instance, and this one was he included the upgrade in his mod list, which made it easy for people to say he was not on the stock turbos, which honestly they are correct. The second a turbo is opened up, and any part is changed with a non factory part. Its an aftermarket turbo, not a stock turbo, whether it is helping or not is moot.

You assume that all of this amazingly inflated drama hasn't prompted the question to be asked. So what is the difference between 9 and 11 impeller blades?
