I was wondering why I havent seen anything about a supercharger for the ecoboost or anyone wanting to do it. I personally really want to have my ecoboost twin charged and was thinking about getting a supercharger for it. I was also wondering how I would do it and what I would need other than the supercharger.

Ive been able to find cobalt ss superchargers onlime for less than $800.

What are you looking for?
A Volvo?
Maybe a twin turbo 2.3?

Might as well strap TNT to it

You haven't heard about any superchargers because nobody usually puts a supercharger on a turbo car. Too many things could go wrong. Too many additional parts added into the equation. Just keep it simple. Go with a bigger turbo. Besides, turbos are better than superchargers.

What are the things that can go wrong with it? To me it makes sense to have a supercharger to supply low end boost then pass the rest off to the turbo at higher rpm's. I have thought about putting a second turbo on it but that still leaves a good amount of turbo lag unless they're two differently sized turbos.

Couple of things -

Costs of adding a supercharger over a turbo on a 4cyl would be too much to keep it running safe or efficient. Turbo's spool up in upper RPMs while superchargers are near instantaneous causing stress at low RPMs. That low end detonation would need to be managed by ECM which would mean limiting power.

Limiting power in mind, a supercharger runs off your motors drive pulley and not the recycled exhaust gas, which means it absorbs power off a tiny 4 cylinder engine in lower RPMs making it less efficient than a turbo.

More fuel, more emissions.

Since the creation of the twin scroll turbo that limits turbo lag, there is no point in wasting time or money in super charging a 4 banger.

People were doing this to late 80's mr2 SC, never turned out well.

^^^ HKS had a Twin-Charge kit which added a Turbo to a factory supercharged AW11 Toyota MR2. I saw a few in Gardena back in the early 90's.

When I say things going wrong, twincharging a car just adds more complexity to the equation. Not to mention the expense like stated above. I'd go compound turbo before adding a supercharger, but that's just me. Compound having a small turbo feeding a big turbo.
