To me UPR + BOBS look the best, has anyone got internal pictures of the system and how the oil passes through the system for filtration, cheers!

Here is the internal picture of the four chamber UPR.

Here are some inside pictures of the Bob's can.

On the UPR can, the air flow goes down through the smaller middle diffuser tube and comes out the holes in the side of the diffuser tube and goes through the SS mesh the encircles the tube and hits the side of the larger tube that the perforated disks attach to. The oil then drips down into the bottom of the can and the air goes back up through the SS ring and then through the perforated disks and out toward the intake. The air can also go past the perforated disks since they don't fit totally flush against the can walls.

On the Bob's can, the air flow goes into the fitting that is screwed into the side of the bottom half of the can. The bottom of the can is filled with SS mesh and covered with a perforated disk. The oil hits the SS mesh and pretty much stays inside the bottom of the can. The perforated disk also helps keep liquid oil inside the bottom section of the can. The air then goes out the fitting that is screwed into the side of the upper portion of the can and then to the intake. I hope this helps.

Here is another picture of the bottom section of the Bob's can.

Here is a picture of the top of the UPR can with the small diffuser installed.

Here is a picture of the larger tube installed over the middle diffuser tube.

Which one seems to work the best? If they are similar then it would go down to mounting location and ease of draining.

I think I've read every thread in the 5.0 performance and f/I forums since ordering my car in September of 2014. I was more or less asking opinions since the products have been out for over a year now and see if opinions have changed. I remember when the jlt was the best intake and catch can and that has switched now to the steeda intake and I'm uncertain about the catch can. I see a lot of bobs and upr's out there.

I will see what I can find.

I went with Bobs Ultimate, I like that the oil goes in to the bottom and air back to the intake is up high. The can sits above the engine so oil can drain back into the engine. Here is a pic of mine installed.

I like the look of the Bob's Ultimate with the SS braided hose and AN fittings, but it's out of my price range. Does it have an AN fitting where the hose clamps onto the valve cover also or is it that plastic clip like the stock one?

The hoses are not SS, they are rubber hoses with a fiber web outer covering.
The fittings at the engine are OEM with a heat shrink on the end of the hose.

Hope that clears it up for you.

Oh OK sorry- from the pic the braiding looked like stainless. Appreciate the clarification.

i learned to drain my can often. had my tb ported and polished last week and the back of my tb was soaked in milky brown fluid from jlt catchcan. it was about a 1/3 full so braking and bumps and cornering was splashing the oil up through the can into the intake. so ill be draining mine every month from now on.

They both seem to work about the same as far as how well they separate the oil.

I'm not sure on the mounting since I have a 2014 Mustang GT and you guys have the 2015 so you might have to look at some pictures for that.

Ease of draining IMHO goes to the Bob's because of the ball valve at the bottom of the can. I also had an issue with the gasket that separates the two halves of the UPR can. It stretched out to where it would not fit on the can anymore and UPR had to send me a replacement. The gasket is pretty thin so that might be the issue.

^^^ My UPR has a drain bolt in the bottom of the can, so no need to take the can apart or disturb 0-rings, etc.
