I guess first things first. Number 1 is that the R cannot be had probably for less than 15 to 25 ADM which would make it more expensive than the ZL1. What about the non-R GT350 vs the ZL1. Would people trade the non R for it. I myself have been thinking about it. I have 2500 on my Shelby and been offered 55 to swap.
R's can be had at MSRP...ask me how I know.

The Shelby (R or not) looks better, sounds better, handles better, feels better, excites better, and will hold its value better. So, no, I wouldn't consider trading.

I'm shocked that someone wouldn't notice that. I would imagine the brakes were checked and/or bled before this. Can I send my application to Ford Performance?

Meanwhile the ZL1 can be had for under MSRP. What does that say about the demand for the GT350R versus the ZL1?

The splitter didn't look like it was installed incorrectly - it was damaged...

The big difference is availability. There have been more zl1 sold in 8 months then R's since they have come out. The difference is GM will make as many as needed to get in people's hands. Ford has limited production so only few can get. Simple supply and demand we all learned back in high school.

It's was damaged sometime during the head to head. There is another pic and clearly looks installed correct. When it was damaged

If you want to drive a car around a track, then get the car where the extra 15 to 25 goes into the technology in the car, instead of the dealers pocket. If you want a car for investment purposes then get the "rare" one, and let the dealer "arbitrage" 15 to 25 upfront.

Just asked and it was installed properly and functional during the fast laps. So much speculation

Go buy an Ariel Atom if all you want is a track vehicle.

There's so much that just how fast something will go around a track! And the GT350 and GT350R have that something that makes it special IMO. :ford:

I guess we will have to wait for youtube. I hate having to subscribe to something and then have to remember to unsubscribe before I get charged.

GM has their own version of the R hitting the streets next month. Limited in numbers.
