I have been running Z26 in the front for quite a while now with no issues, but I did have a problem at original installation, heard a lot of racket and eventually figured out what the problem was… Hard to imagine this could possibly be your issue, but just throwing it out there.

Not sure about the GT500 brakes, but on the GT 6-piston Brembos you need to ensure the brake wear indicator/squealer is on the outer side of the caliper. If its on the inside, it can come in contact with the inner caliper housing and cause the inner brake pad to bind unevenly against the rotor.

Not sure if that’s your issue, but something to check.
