Life is unpredictable, and our friend Brandon Lime needs some assistance.
Brandon and I have not known each other very long. Never met in person. Life brought us together the same way it has many of us, our love for cars. Had the great fortune of building him a set of Signature Wheels for his GT500 and eagerly awaited his impressions of them.
Generally there is some down time during the build where I do not hear much from people. Several weeks ago I was heart broken to read Brandon was involved in an accident while swimming. He sustained an injury to his head that ultimately affected his spine, and has now left him paralyzed from the chest down. At this point in time it is unknown if he will be able to walk again. Just like that, shit changes.
This one hit me a little hard, and made me realize nothing is promised. Brandon and his family are doing everything they can to retrofit his home and prepare him for the path to recovery. They have started a Go Fund Me to assist in that effort, and his physical therapy. I hold out hope that he will walk again. There is not much I can do, other than share his story and hope some here can help a fellow Mustang brother in need.
Times are tough for us all. I will personally be donating $500 to Brandon and his family. Hopefully some of you have the ability to donate, but if not please drop him a message on Facebook with some well wishes and encouragement. Share a story of tough times you went through. Sometimes the words can be even more beneficial.
