I was happy with the horsepower. Always hoping for more. 600+whp with stock exhaust is great. That was not the issue. LMS warranties the labor for one year, but not the parts. I get the sense from my salesman, Steve, that they are trying hard to make things right. The car is ready for me to pick up. Steve told me they want to make sure I am happy with the drivability.
On LMS post earlier they say the car will be able to do 8,000 RPM. If true that would be amazing.
The throttle body is part of the Magnuson setup. I don't know the TB size.

For the record. It is not my intention to trash LMS or anyone. I want my car back running good. I agreed to pay for the fix. We do not know what caused the problems. LMS is incorrect in their long post about speaking with me about the knock. I also realize these threads can really hurt a company. I also will not have LMS say things that are not so. I guess the words lying imply intent. I know the LMS's quote is wrong. But, it is entirely possible that something was misconstrued. Again, this thread was about opinions on what happened to the engine. I think the topic has been thoroughly discussed. My son told me some companies have suffered a lot from threads. This is not my intention. There are some nice folks there and I do not want to hurt them. Everyone makes mistakes and my biggest complaint was the communication and time. I think they are competent and have a proven track record with other folks.
You don’t have to I’ll do it for you. Yes they have sold many of the kits. But

8k Rpm is amazing. It gets there so fast. It’s a blast

I am not surprised to see this thread, I have seen LMS do this same exact thing with other people and get away with it, starting to think it's their business model.

"sometimes in the access port I see my OAR (Octane Adjust Ratio) change from -1. Which means bad gas or at least not 93."

What is OAR?

OAR, or Octane Adjust Ratio, is a value that the Ford ECU uses to determine the quality of fuel being used in the engine. It can be displayed on your Accessport as "Octane Adj Ratio Lrn". The ECU determines this by the amount of detonation that is detected at particular times of engine operation. The higher the intensity of detonation that is detected, the larger the effect on the OAR value. OAR ranges from a value of “-1.00” (which means the fuel is very good) to a value of "1.00" (which means the fuel is very poor).

I'll have to see if my DashCommand app has that PID … thanks.

KR/Knock drives at the same thing. I know on good gas I only see negative values, when I start seeing positive numbers I know my gas isn't great.
OAR is a learned value, whereas KR is real time. Think of OAR as a long term KR. IE: Car is knocking at a certain RPM/Load cell, ECU will learn the value and apply the OAR to compensate that area. If you get into the nitty gritty of the tune, OAR is a multiplier on the fuel and timing tables.
