X4 "DEVICE COMM ERROR" stuck on E30 Tune

Hey guys i have been trying to cintact sct for help but now word yet i was loading a custom tune onto my device and didnt know that the usb cord i was using to load my custom tune onto my device was faulty now i am stuck on a custom e30 tune. e30 burns extremly fast so i have to constantly refuel with 10 sometimes 9 mpgs. i need to get the x4 to stop displaying the screen below any tips woulld be great ive already tried pdating through the updating software but everytime i try it crashes the program.

p.s. X4 displays this screen when connected to the device and car

You could always take it back to Ford dealer and pay their $300 for a factory reflash... if all else fails.

That being said, when was the firmware updated?
What FW Version?
Since you didn't buy the tuner from SCT, have you tried the vendor you bought it from?

^Yep. You might as well set some time apart and get on hold with SCT. They seem to have so many issues with this kind of stuff.

Try contacting them as mentioned above, but I wanted to comment on your E30 tune. 9-10mpg? Something is wrong with that, most of my customers are getting 23-28mpg with my E30 tune. 9-10mpg is worse than STRAIGHT e85 should get.

I contacted them and it looks like there was some gitch in my device where it didn't update completely completely wiping out the ports

their customer service sucks... well e-mail wise it does. definitely give them a call dont email..

My x4 is toast sent it in for repairs luckily they live close so I have a quick turn around and scratch what I said about the mugs of my e30 tune I started driving like a human being and I got 27 mpg
