Hey all, I'm a former Mustang owner (Fox bodies /S195 / Terminator) that ran across this thread after ordering. I placed an order for my Alfa Romeo on Jan 2, 2021 but became worried about delivery a few days later when our home sold (we expected the process to take months, not hours). I reached out on Jan 7 asking for a tracking number or if changing the delivery address was possible. I sent four additional emails to either Dan (using the address listed here) or though the contact page on their website. There was no response.
My package did arrive on Jan 22. Unfortunately, they had shipped it wrapped in foam but without any other packing. I wasn't really surprised at the damage when I opened things. I sent two emails in within the hour and still have not heard back. Considering Carbon Cartel states customers have 72 hours to notify them about shipping damage, I expected a response in that time frame.
After reading this thread, I didn't really expect an answer. Rather than dealing with their BS, I went right to disputing the debit after four days. My bank has reversed the charges already but I wanted to add my experience here. You're better off dealing with eBay than ordering from a vendor like this.
